Used to have slow heating and heat creep causing clogs and lots of frustration! Months later with this hot end, no clogs, heats super fast, and prints fantastic! Outside of updating to klipper, this is my favorite upgrade and well worth the money!

Not so easy to install on the first go around. Is now printing nicely. Good product. Now I have to order 3 backups for the next blob of crap!!

I was having trouble with my extruder skipping and getting very poor print quality. I replaced the extruder stepper motor and extruder, thinking that was the problem since my printer showed that my hot end was getting up to temp. After nothing worked, I figured I would replace the hot end since it was the original hot end from when I bought the printer 2 years ago. WOW! What a difference this hit end has made. Now I get better prints then when my printer was new!. About the product. It is an upgrade hotend for the Ender 3 V3SE and KE. It uses the unicorn nozzles, so don't try using the sprite nozzles, they won't work. The new hotend was an easy installation by just removing the shroud and extruder, the removing the 4 screws holding the fan. The new hot end attaches perfectly to where the original hot end mounted. The electrical connections fit precisely as it was the original hotend. It took me about 10 minutes to take off and replace. I ran the leveling program and then did a level test print. The test came out almost perfect. I did raise the Z offset up by 1. This hotend upgrade is producing fantastic prints. This has solved my extruder skipping problem. Sometimes I just get to tunneled vision and didn't realize how much I had printed with the original hotend and they do wear out after awhile. I am very happy with this hotend upgrade and recommend it to those of you who own an Ender 3 V3 SE or KE.

Worked okay for 3or4 test prints, but the Teflon tubing formed a clog that melted into a balloon shaped mess and every new Teflon tubing I replaced does it ever since.since

This is a very worthwhile upgrade to the Ender 3 V3 SE. the stock hotend was underpowered and lower quality and this corrects that issue. prints smoothly and consistently and honestly this should be purchased at the same time as the printer so you never have to use the stock version and give yoru self access to nearly the whole array of printer filaments. My biggest gripe is the install is a bit tricky. the threads in the aluminum for the fan mount are easy to strip out but fortunately it is reversable so if that happens you just flip it 180 and it mounts just fine. also it is very difficult to line up the teflon tube. ended up trashing the SE tube and had to cut the KE one down to make work. If you only get one upgrade for the Ender 3 V3 SE make it this.

Works great you have to recalibrate all flow and motion characteristics. Great hot end

i never once had a clog until I installed this thing. It is not worth the headache of one failed print after another. I've wasted more filament with this than not.

Much better than the stock one. Haven’t had one issue with this in fact the original head clogged all the time. A great improvement over stock.

the upgrade kit was easy to install and is working better than I had expected. It is a plus for me as it has extended the life of my printer and the results are excellent. Good value.

I bought this hotend kit because my original hotend suffered the fate feared by every 3D printing enthusiast: The Blob of Death. One minute I was happily printing PETG. The next minute I was staring at what appeared to be a molten plastic tribute sculpture built around my hotend. There are few experiences quite like watching hours of filament fuse itself into an expensive, heat-resistant monument to your own optimism. Rather than spending an evening performing delicate plastic archaeology, I decided it was time for an upgrade. Installation was straightforward, and the new hotend feels like a serious improvement. The ceramic heating block heats quickly, temperatures are stable, and the quick-swap nozzle system is far more convenient than trying to remove a nozzle while wondering which fingers you're willing to sacrifice. The first print completed successfully, which immediately restored my confidence and erased all memory of the previous disaster. This is the 3D printing equivalent of forgetting childbirth and having another kid. My favourite feature is simply knowing it can handle higher temperatures without sounding like it has concerns about the task ahead. PETG no longer feels like a negotiation. It's just another job. I've also noticed that after surviving a Blob of Death, every successful print feels like a personal victory. The printer isn't just making parts anymore. It's proving that we've both moved on. The only downside is that I now keep the old hotend nearby as a warning to future generations. "What happened to that one?" "That's what happens when a print fails and you ignore it for too long." Highly recommended. If your stock hotend has been claimed by the Great Plastic Monster, this kit is an excellent replacement. Five stars. My printer is back in business, PETG has been forgiven, and the Blob of Death has been relegated to a cautionary tale.

Perfect replacement for the original hotend. Original hot end decided that it was a time for a change. Easy to replace, and works like a charm.
