Hello, Thank you for your interest. This product would be legal in VA. Any inspector will pass you vehicle with this product on.

Q: Does this fit a 2015 wrangler with a 3.6L V6 engine? And if so do you have to change the mass air sensor?

As others have stated, it will fit the 2015 3.6L. One clarification, there is no Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor on this vehicle. The Jeep uses a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. There is an Air Inlet Temp (AIT) sensor located on the intake that you swap over using the provided hardware.

Danny it was a very easy installation. All the parts and instructions were spot on. Also after you install it your engine comes to life with a throughtier sound and performance.
