The ultimate desk cleaner—Switch between work and play with one button
As a remote worker, I needed a way to share my peripherals between my work laptop and my personal PC without a mess of cables. This KVM switch has been a game-changer. It’s incredibly simple to set up and does exactly what it’s supposed to do: let me switch my entire setup with a single button press. Pros: Seamless Switching: I use this to move my monitor, mouse, keyboard, webcam, and speakers between two machines. It handles the transition flawlessly. Easy Setup: It was unbelievably simple to get everything plugged in and running right out of the box. Expandable with a Hub: A huge plus is that you can plug a USB dongle/hub into one of the ports. I was able to connect multiple items to one hub and only use a single USB slot on the KVM, which really helped manage my devices. Compact & Effective: It has a small footprint but handles a lot of "heavy lifting" for a dual-computer desk. Cons: 60Hz Refresh Limit: A major pointer for gamers: this unit is capped at 60Hz. If your personal machine is a high-end gaming rig, you might want to look for a KVM that can push a higher refresh rate to avoid a drop in performance. Audio Limitation: I ended up getting a second Bluetooth headset (one for each machine) to keep things simple, as switching a single headset through the unit was the only thing that didn't fit my specific workflow. The Verdict: If you are tired of unplugging and replugging cables every time you clock out for the day, this is a fantastic value. It’s reliable and easy to use—just keep the 60Hz limit in mind if you’re a competitive gamer. For a standard work-from-home and casual gaming setup, it makes the daily transition so much faster and cleaner.

A simple KVM Switch that actually works!
I have a simple setup: Dell desktop and Dell laptop both running Window 11, a LG monior, a wired keyboard and a wired mouse. All I need to do is switch monitors between the two computers. I bought this KVM switch to replace a different one (simialr price, also HDMI based) that was causing a lot of "pain" - slow switching time - sometimes it just hung; ocassionally jittery screen - basically a real pain to use. The Hearvo switch works great. The only downside is it doesn't come with HDMI cables, but for me that was not an issue - I just reused the cable setup I already had. I like that the monitor HDMI cable comes in from the back (unlike the unit it repalace that had the monitor cable come in from the front). I also like having the remote switch button. Bottom line, I like this unit, it does the job, and the price was reasonable.

Great KVM! Just buy it!!
Finally! An affordable KVM that does not lag or scramble windows when switch between computers! I tried at least 5 others at different price points, but here was my issue: I have a PC using 1 screen, and a laptop using 3 screens. When I would switch between machines, there would be a 3-4 second lag during the switch where the laptop would close or relocate any open windows from 3 screens on to 2, and it would not maintain focus on the main open window. This little beauty works like a charm... no delay, no shuffling of windows, and everything stays where it should! The only thing to know is the while the switch comes with USB cables for your mouse/keyboard, they are a little short and you will need your own HDMI cables... but this is a great deal, and works better the KVMs costing 3x as much!!

Well built and functions nice.
Great sale price. Looks like similar design of other brands. Fast shipping. Arrived on time. Well packaged. Good clean setup. I use it between NVR and Client computers. This replaced another more expensive brand. It is very slightly slower on HDMI recognition but as long as it's reliable I can live with that I'm happy so far. I would recommend seller and this KVM.

Works great but for the remote.
Works great, except for the button on the little remote bit. I double checked I had it plugged in snug but it doesn’t seem to do anything. The switch on the body works fine, and screen quality is as clear as a direct connection.

Better than expected
It's hard to get anything decent these days without paying a lot for it. For less than $50 bucks I figured this was just a generic KVM but I'm really happy with it so far. The USB switch is immediate and the video is crisp and clear. I use these quite a bit for a 2nd computer that I use for wiping hard drives. It works so well sometimes I forget it is swapped over to the 2nd computer and I get frustrated because the mouse isn't working but it is, lol, on the other computer. Anyway, super easy to hook up and use. A great space saver if you have a 2nd pc or even a laptop. Definitely would recommend this if you are looking to clean up some space with your computers.

Reliable, Solid Performer — My Experience with the Steetek USB 3.0 HDMI KVM Switch
I’ve been using the Steetek USB 3.0 HDMI KVM Switch (1 Monitor / 2 Computers, 4K@60Hz) for several weeks now, and it has consistently delivered on the “reliable” promise. Here’s why: 1. Stable switching between machines: Switching from my desktop to my laptop has been rock-solid. The device doesn’t drop input, stutter, or glitch when using the button or the wired remote. just works. That consistency is exactly what I was missing in other products. 2. Strong video performance without flicker or dropouts I run a 4K@60Hz monitor, and this KVM maintains the display signal without flickering or momentary black screens, even when switching back and forth. The “Adaptive EDID” feature appears to help it negotiate and retain stable video resolution. 3. Reliable USB peripheral handling The three USB 3.0 ports are a nice bonus. I have multiple devices (keyboard, mouse, external SSD) plugged in, and switching rarely interrupts or confuses the devices. I haven’t encountered “missing device” or recognition issues. 4. No external power, yet consistent performance Despite being bus-powered only, the unit maintains consistent performance under normal loads. That’s one less cable and one less point of failure. The “plug and play” nature saves hassle and reduces one potential weakness. 5. Build quality and support confidence The unit feels solid and well-built. The inclusion of a “lifetime Protection Plan” seems to support that. Also, the brand has placed it high in the KVM rankings (ranked #3 in KVM Switches on Amazon) which suggests broad adoption.

Can’t keep an HDMI signal
Solid enough and the included button works well. It switches quickly, and USB switching has been solid but the HDMI has not. I have regular “flickering” or “loss of signal” where there’s a clear re-negotiation happening or the monitor has lost input. It happens often…. Every few minutes and hasn’t gotten better with newer better cables. I’m pretty sure this is an EDID issue. Your mileage may vary but this is a very average device.
