It's pretty cool and safe to have this. It's pretty simple to use. There's no contraindications (when not to use jt) for narcan so if you're going to use it there shouldn't be major side effects.If you want to make sure someone needs this, check to see if they have really small pupils. If they aren't breathing or their breathing is really shallow or irregular. If they don't have a pulse or if it's very weak. Then you spray this in their nose and call ems and wait with them and continue to monitor their breathing and pulse incase they need cpr. This should wake them up but they can be combative once up.

I know someone who takes prescribed medication and this is just a precaution. Always good to keep on hand. Thank you!
