This little Shinic window fan works great in my kitchen! It’s the perfect size for a small window and really helps with temperature control while I cook. It’s quiet, so the noise level isn’t a problem at all. For such a compact fan, the functionality is impressive—it keeps the air flowing and makes the space way more comfortable. Definitely a good value for the money.

Works great in smaller room, office

People seem to be reviewing the unit with rotating fans. This is for the simple model.Full max with extenders is almost 33.5" whole main body frame is almost 4" deep - if you have child safety bars installed it may be a struggle, especially as there is not ridge/lip/bumper on the main frame, so it just pops out of the window when it wants (frame is too smooth, nothing to lock into the window when you close it down, except the extenders) those side extenders do not really lock in place well either.Screen is a useful thing.Noise level is ok.FYI You need to remove from window to flip from intake to exhaust (and vice versa)

When I received fan ,it worked great. 1 month later the fan spead has slowed down. When you turn it on it takes a minute to het to high spead.

Works like a charm in our kitchen window when my husband burns food on the stove. And he does not do that too often. Fire alarms don't go off and it pulls all of the smoke outside. We keep it on every day. This is one of the best things that we ever put in our kitchen.

Initially I was not sure if I liked the fan until one hot day it exhausted the hot air from my second floor. I use it during the hot days. Also, in cool day we turn it on instead of using the air conditioner. I am glad that I bought it.

Just what I needed to exhaust the heat!
