Great water pitcher that filters out microplastics!
This was my second attempt at buying this water filter pitcher. The first arrived opened & obviously a return but this one is new & just what I wanted. I bought it as a gift for my parents. I have one that I use every day for years now. I wanted a filter that took out microplastics but left in the good minerals like magnesium, etc. This pitcher is fantastic & well worth the $! The water tastes like water with no chemicals or after taste & the pitcher is large enough that I use it for my coffee pot water too. I like the design, and you just need to make sure the top is secure before you pour it!

The pitcher I didn't know I needed until I started paying attention to what's actually in my water
After comparing multiple pitchers for BPA filtering, the Epic Pure pitcher was the one that kept coming up as actually doing what it claims. The fact that its made from BPA and BPS free medical grade material means you're not leaching anything from the pitcher itself while also filtering out the same contaminants from your tap water which felt like the only logically consistent choice. The filtration numbers are legitimately impressive, we're talking PFAS, lead, fluoride, microplastics and over 200 other contaminants. It filters slowly on purpose because longer contact time with the media means better removal which makes sense once you understand how it works. The built in LED timer on the lid that counts down to your filter replacement date is a thoughtful touch because its one less thing to keep track of. Yes the pitcher and replacement filters every 3-4 months are pricy, but when you're paying to not drink PFAS and heavy metals every single day it becomes a lot easier to justify. Water is something most of us consume more than anything else so if there's one area of your health routine worth spending a little more on, this is probably it.

Terrible Idea to Buy
This is the most expensive & worst water pitcher I've ever had. I thought it may have been defective so I actually got a replacement. It wasn't defective, the pitcher is bad.No matter if you think the top is secure & it's fitted off, it pops off at random causing huge messes. It starts off filtering great & then at around 79% it practically stops flowing...taking overnight to fill up one pitcher. It is not easy to use & the design is made to look fancy but it's not user friendly at all.

Tastes Do Good!
More than just filtering to protect our health, the resulting water surprisingly tastes so good we are no longer buying canned or bottled water. This amazing pitcher will pay for itself in the first year. Highly recommend!

Slow but steady
I bought this water filter pitcher after doing some research on what would be a reasonable compromise on filtering and maintenance. It removes PFAS and the new filters are easier to setup than competitors. It also doesn't remove beneficial solutes like magnesium. The flip-top lid makes filling the water reservoir easy although unfiltered water will dribble out if the reservoir is more than halfway full in my experience. It's durable. Filters last about 2-3 months for me. The filtering can get slow halfway through. The company offers a recycling program - mail back 5 used filters and get 1 free.Tip: if the filter is slow because it's nearing replacement time or if you're impatient, you can set the reservoir on the filter perpendicular (pictured) and the gravity and increased water pressure will make it filter faster

Filters alot more than the average filtering pitcher
I like it so far. The documentation that comes with the pitcher seems to cover all of the issues that other reviews have complained about, so do read the little booklet that is included. One point of confusion for me was the documentation says the Pure filter is white with THREE holes in the top, and the Nano filter is grey with ONE hole. The filter I received is white, with one hole. Amazon customer service verified that Epic modified the design and that I did have the Pure filter, which I preferred instead of the Nano.I've been drinking bottled spring water for years, so I don't even know what our unfiltered tap water tastes like, but the Epic filtered water seems to feel smooth when I drink it, which sounds weird that water has a "feel", but that's the first think I thought. I guess I'm not used to whatever minerals remains after filtering, but it seems fine to me.The pitcher works well. The water seems to pass through the filter in a reasonable amount of time (see video), and when I pour it, the little flap lifts itself just fine, and there are no dribbles or messes like some other reviews have complained about. Make sure that the reservoir is placed in the pitcher correctly - this is mentioned in the booklet - and I did put it in wrong myself initially, which will cause the lid to not fit correctly. When it is installed correctly, the lid snugs down on the pitcher securely. As a 68 y.o. woman, I find the handle comfortable to hold and pour with the pitcher full. I also like how the little tab on the flip up lid is kind of rubbery feeling so it holds the lid up out of the way when the reservoir is filling (see picture).I like that the Pure filter lasts for 150 gallons. That should be around 5 months based on how much water I drink and cook with, so it will be cost effective as it is just for me, and I like that it also filters flouride along with the other long list of nasties that I don't want to ingest. This pitcher seems to be a good balance of function and price compared to other options.

Wonder if it’s really filtering anything out of the water
First the pour spout doesn’t pour very well it sticks and the water doesn’t come out or it half opens and then the water goes everywhere and the water goes through the filter so fast I wonder if it’s really doing anything and then there’s the taste of the water, just not sure if it’s really filtered

Good idea in theory, multiple design flaws.
Sadly, this product has numerous flaws and needs a big redesign. The first filter the pitcher came with lasted almost the promised 90 days. Then, we bought several refill filters after that and all of them essentially stopped working within 15-20 days. They filtered so incredibly slow and we tried all the recommended fixes. As others have said, the white pitcher top also comes off easily and so water that hasn’t filtered through will spill everywhere. I did this multiple times.Once I realized the filters were too expensive to keep wasting, we transitioned to buying gallons of spring water and just filling the pitcher with those (without a filter). The pitcher top still leaks a little every time it is used, so we are just done with this product, unfortunately. I love the idea of it in theory, but it is not worth the money.

Disappointed
Lid did not fit properly. Considering the price I would expect better quality.

Clearly the best
Good product

Très efficace
Love this filter. No bad tasting water anynore. Takes long time to filter the water, like it should take for any good filter.

I
I had a Brita filter. It was satisfactory. Then my wife discovered Pure Filter. IMO it’s expensive, however this work 4 orders better than Brita. My local water utility stepped up the chlorine. It was bleeding through on the Brita. This filter takes out 100% of the external odours in the water. I’m a hypertaster so I notice everything., I give it 2 thumbs up. Fantastic. Again expensive, but they claim to actually remove way more harmful chemicals. If true then this is a buy.want

No issues. :)
Absolutely no issues with the actual product, just wish there was a set up video to make it easier to put it together.
