These 10ft string light poles are awesome! I used the included ground spikes to stick them directly into the yard, and they’ve held up great — super sturdy and stable, even through some strong wind and rain.The poles are tall and strong, perfect for hanging outdoor string lights without any sag. The metal feels high quality and weather-resistant, and installation was quick and easy. I didn’t need the fence brackets — just used the ground spikes and was ready to go.They’ve totally upgraded the vibe of our backyard. Instead of securing them into the ground, I installed them directly onto my deck using the included brackets — super easy and very secure.The poles are incredibly sturdy and have held up great, even on windy days. These have held up in 65mph winds so far and done great! They're easy to put together and stick into the ground. The only issue we had was at the corners. Our space is a 52ft×26ft rectangle. At every corner, the poles bent like crazy even with a tether pulling them back toward position. We ended up changing our corners out for 4x4 wood poles and left these for the middle sections and they work beautifully. Our solar panels could clamp onto the poles easily or hook onto the top hooks.

We ordered the set of four 10 ft poles to hang 150’ of string lights across our deck. The poles are easy to assemble and come with all necessary mounting hardware, which is nice.We had intended to set these flush on our deck surface to hang our lights at 10’, but upon assembly noticed the poles only measured about 8’11” from tip to ground spike, a foot short of advertised height. We were still able to use these for our install, but had to mount the poles higher above the floor to compensate for this.The poles feel stable, but flex more than I had anticipated, which could be due to having to install with less pole supported or or just how we have the lights hung. Overall we like them and they’re getting the job done.

These light poles were not difficult to put together, but they were tricky to get stable in our ground, and one of the forks on the base broke off while we were trying to get them up. They hold the lights well, if you use a lot of them, and only go in a straight line. I had wanted to zig zag across my yard but these poles don’t work well for that, and the lights hung so low you couldn’t walk under them. So we lined the edge of the yard with the poles and did a circle of lights around it instead. Which is ok, just not what I wanted.
