Caiman Premium Cow Grain MIG/Stick Welding Gloves, Cotton/Fleece Insulation, Kontour Design, White/Gold, Large (1434-5)

I am using these gloves for wood stove maintenance. Removing hot ashes and opening the door gets very hot. I can actually reach into the fire and move a log around without even feeling the heat. The gloves also protect from splinters from handling the chopped wood. They do not restrict movement so you can grab the door handle or the poker securely increasing the safety of the process. Well-built and designed. I usually like medium size but got large and they fit well. Other reviews say they run a bit small. I would say that being so soft they will likely fit when broke in if you get your normal size but if you are not doing precision work the next size up might be the better option.

Boyfriend works on repairing mine equipment and these gloves are perfect for him. Excellent cow hide with comfortable fleece insulation. The size were perfect for him. They are not too snug or too thick to restrict movement and not too big to slide off. Excellent protective gloves.

I really needed a new pair of welding gloves, so I ordered these to give a try. I have been very happy with the quality and fit of these gloves. I honestly got more than I expected with them since I assumed they would be stiff and bulky or would fall apart soon after getting them. They are so much better than I was expecting them to be. They are comfortable to wear and protect my hands as they should. After using them I wouldn't be surprised if the price went up, I would compare them to another higher end welding glove I have used but not owned. I'm telling you it is so nice to get something that exceeds your expectations. I will definitely keep Caiman in mind for future needs!

This glove is really nice and soft and feels great. I like the balance of padding and flexibility. The fit is a little bit small and I followed their fit guide. My gut said get and XL since I always wear XL, but their guide had me firmly in a large. So, I got the Large, and the fingers are 1/2" to 3/4" too short. The fit around my hand is good, but the fingers are just a little too short. So, if you normally wear and XL, get the XL glove. The quality of the glove isn't a question for me, just the fit guide. I would recommend this product, but I would get and XL next time.

These gloves are really soft and flexible, with insulation that feels great. I’m hoping the insulation holds up over time. I have two other pairs of gloves I use for metal casting--these are much thinner. I'll stick to using them for welding and general work, and continue using my thicker gloves for handling hot metal. I am sure they will breathe poorly but will be way better than the fully insulated gloves.
