Works perfectly with MacBook Pro and Rode Microphone
I wanted this mic for teaching an online university class. It connects my Rode microphone seamlessly to my MacBook Pro. Easy to see the VU meters int he Sound control panel to make sure it is working. Happy with my purchase.

Ooooooops
Well I charged it for 20 hours and it never gave a peep. Such is the Earth with such fragile things as microchips.

Decent Budget-Friendly External Sound Card
This USB sound card has proven to be a worthwhile upgrade from my computer's built-in audio. While it's not an audiophile-grade DAC, it delivers noticeably cleaner sound than my motherboard's default audio output. The virtual 7.1 surround feature adds some depth to gaming and movies, though it's not quite as immersive as a true surround setup.Installation was completely hassle-free - just plug and play with no driver installations needed. The volume control knob is convenient, and I appreciate having separate headphone and microphone ports. The build quality feels solid enough for the price point, though it's mostly plastic construction. For everyday use with headphones and basic gaming, this sound card does its job well. The audio output is clean with minimal background noise, and it provides enough power to drive most standard headphones. While serious audiophiles might want to look at more premium options, this serves as a practical upgrade for anyone wanting to improve their computer's audio without breaking the bank.

Good little upgrade for my portable setup
I don't travel often, but when I do I bring my laptop. It works fine on its own but this little sound card adapter seemed like it could offer a few nice QoL features. I was right: the mute button, roller, and multiple output jacks all make things like Discord and Zoom calls a bit more enjoyable. It was basically just plug-and-play, which was nice. Can't comment on the mic jack feature though, as I used my USB mic instead.

USB Sound Card: A Solid Upgrade for Gaming
This USB sound card offers a noticeable improvement in audio quality, especially for gaming. I have a wired headset that was having serious noise when connected to my onboard soundcard, but this card fixed that issue. The virtual 7.1 surround sound creates a more immersive experience. While it's not a night-and-day difference, it's definitely worth the upgrade for gamers looking to enhance their sound. The plug-and-play setup is convenient, and the PUBG sound effects are a nice bonus for fans of the game.

Disappointed
Our audio sounded horrible. It didn’t take long to realize it was this product distorting it! As soon as we disconnected it, everything sounded just fine.
