2 Pcs Reusable Ethanol Tester E85, Wide Mouth Fuel Pressure Testers Bottle

With the recent changes to more US stations deploying higher percentage ethanol blends (and my vehicles being older/not designed for the higher ethanol) these testers were a wise and affordable investment. The tester bottles are easy to tote along, have easy to read markings, and are thick & durable. The wide mouth makes testing easy. Overall a very useful way to be sure you are getting what you are paying for and help prevent the likelihood of fuel system damage on older vehicles.

Great device it’s really nice to know how much alcohol you’re getting in your gas. It varies from PLACE to PLACE . I measured at Costco and I found it to be the lowest at around 6% Arco at about 10% and Chevron also about 6 to 7%.

This definitely works as advertised and I will say, I use them as soon as they arrived and found out that the station I was buying ethanol free gas was charging a premium price and yet selling regular gas with ethanol. I’ll be reporting them to weights and measures. I’m keeping mine in the toolbox of my pick up and I will make sure I test any ethanol free gas before I purchase any quantity in the future. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. This is easy to read a good size and a great value for the money.

Works well, Pull and buy 50 cents worth and see if the girl inside does not look funny at you

Works well. Doesn’t seal smell very well, so you might want to use it once at your favorite gas station with flex fuel/e85 and then take it home & store it somewhere with good circulation. Makes the car reek. Cheaper than other options. Spot to fill fits the gas nozzle, so size is good. Plastic might have fogged up somewhat? Giving it 4 stars because of the fogging at the top.

I chose this kit as it used smaller amount of gas than many. I've been able to determine how much "non-ethanol" gas I need to pump first to clear the line at a station that uses a single delivery hose for delivery. Not that I appreciate paying $1 a gallon over premium 10% ethanol gas. It take 2 gallons get to what I'm buying. The bottles have a more graduated scale than many others too. I would have preferred glass over plastic for a longer reuse life. Ethanol gas is the worst thing ever for gas that is going to be left in small engines including generators. This kit was a small price to pay to protect my farm, motorcycle and vehicles that are stored more than driven.

very easy to use.

I tested this out on E85 gas and it was right on mark.
