Lifesaver!
I work 70 hours per week and all I want to do when I get home is sit in my favorite seat in our sectional, kick my feet up in my recliner and decompress for 30 -60 minutes while I talk to my wife about her day. I really look forward to it but one night I came home and all of the sudden the recliner was weak, sounded pathetic and functioned intermittently. Eventually it quit working all together. I called the manufacturer and don't even want to tell you what they wanted for a replacement linear actuator (they sell the whole thing as a unit , they don't offer replacement motors from what I could find). I looked at the connections, specs and voltages as well as the connections for the up down switch and found this unit. You will be surprised that aside from the length of throw (operating movement range) these units are remarkably similar. This one matched up and I was impressed to see that it comes with both male and female controller connections (to work with a greater range of setups) and that it comes with its own transformer. This thing is a value and can save you from replacing a recliner or lift chair!

Well built
This thing is a little tank. It has a nice motor and it is nicely built. It is pretty heavy and the motor moves great. The controls are nice also. I'm not using it for its intended purpose, but it doesn't have any issues in working and moving some pretty good weight. I'm very impressed and I'd recommend it.
