Vacuum Sealing Rolls – Good Quality & Versatility of Cutting to Length
This set of x8 vacuum sealing rolls came packaged in a shrink-wrapped piece of plastic with a label. There are x4 rolls with a width of 20cm and a length of 6m and x4 rolls with a width of 28cm and a length of 6m which means that the rolls should last a good amount of time and the two differing widths offers good flexibility. The food grade material is BPA free and each bag features one textured / embossed side, which allows the maximum air extraction, and one transparent side for ease of viewing the item inside. The bags are very heavy duty and resistant to punctures and tears. The plastic has a good thickness and can withstand extreme temperatures as well. You are able to customise the length without wastage by easily cutting to the desired length. The vacuum bags work very well with my vacuum sealing machine and can be used with both wet and dry foods for both storage purposes. So far there hasn’t been any leaks nor freezer burn from these vacuum bags and the bags can withstand high temperatures for a long period of time making them perfect for sous vide cooking. Due to the nature of the rolls, you do need to seal both ends of the bag but this is worth it considering the cost saving. The plastic is fridge, freezer, microwave safe and can even be washed if you want to reuse the bags! If you aren’t reusing the bags, the plastic is recyclable. There was no obnoxious chemical smell to the bags when sealing and they were very easy to use and preserve the food against bacteria, insects and mould whilst maintaining nutrients and freshness. It means that the food last longer in both the freezer and fridge as well as at room temperature.I will mainly be using these to split up bulk packs of meat ready for freezing and they are perfect for this use – I also love that when defrosting it keeps any juices within the bag. The bags take up less room than plastic containers in my fridge and freezer and the rolls work really well for me. Priced at £20.99 at the time of reviewing, this is well priced for the amount that you get and I definitely would recommend these vacuum sealing rolls.

Good value and excellent for avoiding food waste.
The Wevac Lite bags come in a large quantity (6 rolls) with two size options, offering versatility for different food types. They are BPA-free, which is important for health-conscious cooks. The 6-pack offers a significant amount of bag material, ideal for frequent users of vacuum sealers. The two roll sizes (20x600cm and 28x600cm) allow you to choose the perfect size for different foods, from sealing individual portions to large roasts. These bags are free of Bisphenol A, a chemical linked to potential health concerns. This is a plus for safety-minded cooks. Overall, good value and excellent for avoiding food waste.

Good value vacuum bags
These are good value vacuum bags. The range of sizes includes the 2 most commonly used, and I find the 20cm particularly useful for single servings, with the 28cm better for family sized servings. The plastic quality seems OK, it's slightly lighter gauge than my existing brand but the seams are strong and they are tough enough for the intended purpose. We use these for single and multiple portions of chicken, salmon, steak and other meats. Used on the moist setting, I find I get a good seal, and the textured surface on one side allows the vacuum function to work well. I haven't had any issues with the sealer burning all the way through the plastic as can sometimes be a problem with lower gauge bags. The rolls are quite loosely rolled, so they take up more space than necessary and the film is quite creased when you unroll it. That doesn't seem to affect their performance though and it's not an issue if you have the storage space.

Large pack for our food hoarding needs
If you’re like us and buy fresh meats in bulk for freezing, then these bags are just what you’re looking for. Space saving and due to extracting the excess air from the storage pouch, keeps food from being spoiled in the freezer due to excess frost and ice. This pack includes different width rolls that can be cut into various sized bags to suit many purposes. We portion various steaks, chicken breast fillets, pork chops, gammon steaks, bacon and sausages into individual portions on delivery so we can defrost what we need when we need it. The seals on these bags are flawless and work well with our vacuum pack machine (a Bonsenkitchen model). There is an element of time required trimming and sealing as opposed to the pre-measured pouches but there’s less waste as you can create a bag size for your needs. For the item count and quality of the product, these are a fairly good deal working out at an average of 10p per bag for our use which is on par with the price of the Bonsenkitchen branded variant and offers the convenience of multiple size options.

Slightly thinner than other brands - bit that’s a good thing
Wevac Lite 6 Pack (3)20x600cm and (3)28x600cm Food Rolls Vacuum Seal Bags - price when reviewed £ 20.99These rolls seem similar in most respects to others I have used and are reasonably priced. They seal and vacuum pack food just as well as other brands. The material has no smell or taint. However, the material feels a little thinner and possibly somewhat less pliable.I checked the weight of a 600cm roll, and these rolls are about 235 grams, versus my normal brand which weighs just over 300 grams - so they are around 20% thinner/lighter … but I can view that as a positive as it is that much less single-use plastic use.

Brilliant stuff
3 rolls 20cm wide and 3 rolls 28cm wide, 6m on a roll, 6 rolls of plastic for vacuum sealing 'things.A little thinner than the rolls I have been using, but considerably cheaper, and they work better.I've just done 18 seals, to make 9 vacuum sealed bags, with no failures - and I'm fairly new at this so not that good yet.It seems to be that the slightly thinner plastic is just easier to work with.I am impressed, it's just so easy to use on my near bottom of the market vacuum sealer.
