I got this to replace a similar plastic food container that we used to pack some of the food for my son's school lunches, which he recently lost the lid to. Quality-wise, I'm very happy with this container. The container itself is made of a fairly sturdy silicone material that provides enough flex to have me believe it can endure plenty of drops without cracking or breaking. The lid is made of a softer silicone that fits well. I probably wouldn't put liquids in it but have no worries with the lid coming off with the solid foods we plan on using this for. I also love that the lid is see-through. That said, this is a small container. For example, it will not hold a full-sized sandwich. I knew that from the description and am fine with the size for our needs, but I think it bears reiterating here just in case you are looking for something a little bigger.

This is an easy-to-open container for my 5 yr old, who is autistic. We plan on using it for small lunches, or snacks. It’s easy to shut, easy to clean, can be opened one-handed…. It’s perfect! Love the smiley face inside that you see when your food is gone! Also has a texture on the silicone lid. While the lid is soft and flexible, the container is plastic and firm. Very cool!

I’ve been replacing problematic plastic storage containers with glass and silicone, and this container seemed like a good find. It works in the refrigerator, but is also lightweight for packing in a lunchbox. Turns out it’s just the lid that’s made of silicone; the bowl itself is a harder material that’s safe in the microwave and the dishwasher. It’s hard to photograph, but there’s a smiley face embossed in the bottom of the bowl. Cute for kids, or anyone! The container seems a little pricey but these materials are no doubt costlier than the cheap plastic I’m replacing!

Item was dirty and has minor scratches when I received it. Looked like I was given a defective unit. Couldn’t return it as I needed the container urgently.

Bought to go in with b.box lunch boxes we have and they look great. Also used them for snacks during after school activities. Lovely size.
