I'm a firm believer that even the worst experiences can teach us something. That being said, this Kids Toy-Electric Powered Slot Car Race Track Set is a lesson I would have preferred to skip. It promised hours of joy and excitement for my son, but instead delivered an absolute fiasco, resulting in a frustrated child and a disheartened parent.First and foremost, the assembly process was akin to solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded. The instructions were poorly translated and confusing, leaving us puzzled rather than enlightened. Despite our best efforts and the allocation of an entire afternoon, the finished product bore more resemblance to a pile of tangled wires than a race track.Even if you do somehow manage to assemble it, the product's performance is no better than its construction process. The electric cars, supposedly the stars of this grand show, fail to live up to any reasonable expectation. They stutter and jerk around the track, if they move at all. The cars are more inclined to quit halfway through a race than finish it, which led to more tears than cheers.The build quality of the set is a whole other story. I've seen better durability in a deck of cards. The track pieces are flimsy and easily broken, and the cars themselves aren't much sturdier. I had to console my son when one of the cars literally fell apart in his hands. It's like this product was designed as a practical joke, not a children's toy.As a parent, my primary concern is the happiness and wellbeing of my child. This product, unfortunately, contributed to neither. I purchased this set as a gift for my son's birthday, and it turned out to be the most disappointing present he received. The look of excitement on his face when he first saw the box quickly turned to one of frustration and disappointment.I truly cannot recommend this Kids Toy-Electric Powered Slot Car Race Track Set to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a product that is worthy of your child's time and your hard-earned money. This product is a stark reminder that not all that glitters is gold. I bought this for my 4 hear old son for Christmas. It's now been over 4 months of him playing with it and he still LOVES it! This is a great option if you're looking for an affordable play track for your kid(s) or as a gift to someone else.

One of the cars works on the track great!!! The other does not. The gear on it does not roll smoothly so it can’t keep moving. We can only use one of the cars successfully. If both cars worked I would have given 5 stars

my kids love playing this track set. The only thing i dislike is the cars barley stay on the track. The functionality of the track and remote control is great but other than that my kids love it. If the company can improve the functionality of the cars they toy would be 10/10.
