Bought this to use with my government id smart card and it worked great. Tested it with the Portuguese and Italian ones and I can confirm it works with both - probably with others too.You connect it and it's immediately recognised. You do need to download the app from your card issuer, so if it's not working straight away after that just do the standard unplug and plug again and you're ready to go.Safe, inexpensive and extremely useful.
