We bought this for my nephew and he has loved playing with it. I prefer the magnetic wooden fruit and veg to the velcro as some of our old velcro pieces have come away, meaning the toys don't stick together so can't be chopped. This set comes in a handy tray for tidying too.

Really good quality and variety of food. Comes in a nice tray with a cutting board and two knives. Colourful and smooth.

This is a lovely toy, good quality and cute accessories, but be aware that the nectarine has a pip in it. A small wooden ball about the size of a mini egg. I’ve removed ours for peace of mind!

My kids were curious about the lotus root and dragon fruit, which they hadn't seen or eaten before, making this set both fun and educational. It’s a great starter set for pretend kitchen play, and even if your kids already have a play kitchen, this makes a wonderful addition with its unique fruits and veggies. It also comes with a wooden box, which is really useful for encouraging the kids to tidy up after playing and keeping all the pieces organised.

My son is delighted with this food set and I'm very happy as it is wooden, with no plastic. All the little items even store in a wooden crate.My son loves that the fruits and veg are in two pieces joined by velcro, so he's able to pretend to cut them in half.He recognised most items but some are more unusual such as aubergine. The set has taught him and we've chatted about what ways we could eat them.

This wooden set of fruit and veg are really good. Well made, nicely painted, handy tray with good deep edges great. The wooden knife easily chops through the fruit and veg in preparation for cooking. Nicely presented in a box so ideal for gifting, and priced at £21.99 at the time of this review
