NDS QF-0750 Flo Control Quick-Fix Expansion Pipe Repair Coupling, 3/4 in, Socket X Spigot, 150 Psi, PVC, 3/4-Inch

I installed - simple. after waiting for the joints to cure, i turned on the water (60 psi max). the coupling leaks where the male tube slides. help?

Do you actually have this with the extended end as a 3/4" coupler like the image vs the male end extender like the one I'm having to return?

Are these removable? i would like to use it on non pressurized drain pvc pipe after a trap
