Rough Country V2 Steering Stabilizer for 16-24 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500HD - 8730170

Works good. Installed on a 2024 Silverado 2500HD. You have to modify the small washers for the bracket on the lower control arm bolt if you are installing on stock suspension. Simply cut the washers into a "C" shape so they slip over the bolt, you do not need to fully remove the lower control arm bolt, just back it out enough to slip two modified washers over the bolt. They are used to space out the frame where the bracket goes. Everything else bolted up easily. Been running this kit for a few weeks now without issue.

Quality product. Simple to install. Although you really do not feel added resistance it does keep the steering wheel from jerking all over when you hit a bump or pothole. Definately improves the driving experience.

I received this without any mounting hardware. I contacted the manufacturer and they refused to help me, and would not respond to any questions after my initial contact. I will be returning to Amazon and ordering a different brand instead

We put these on our GMC 2500. It fixed the uncontrollable shaking in the front end. Easy to install and built of good quality materials.

Took almost all the bump steering out of front end

The mounting bracket holes weren't drilled quite right so I had to extend one of the holes a bit to get it to bolt up properly. Otherwise it functions perfectly as expected. I'm using it because I tow 40+ft bumper pull trailers that like to sway a lot. This helps control that and makes long distance travel a lot more comfortable with less input on the steering wheel to remain in a straight line on the freeway.

First step when you get this is to throw the instructions away. Absolutely useless. Does not match year model truck. Maybe it does somewhere between '16 and '26. I made it work with some washers and things I already had. Will not buy another RC product.

Perfect fit and easy install on my 2016 Sierra 2500HD. Took the slop and shimmy out of the steering, even after I had the box and tie rods replaced! 100% would recommend! I ended up ordering a Rough Country shock boot, prior to installation, to put over this cylinder to protect it.

Installed on 2022 chevy 2500 HD, im running 35's and do spend more time on gravel roads than pavement, so figured this would be a nice upgrade. Smooths out the steering, takes harshness of bumps away, works awesome. Update: it almost lasted a year. Very aggressive leak from the cylinder I noticed, about 10.5 months of using it.
