A great device for specific usecase
Well it works only when there are bunch of readily available device that have Bluetooth and wifi on which is very hard and not very likely. But I use it on my keys so I can safely play the sound to find my keys. Sound quality is loud and locatable .

First Google Find My Device Compatible and affordable bluetooth tracker
**Setup**: The setup process was incredibly straightforward. It required pressing just one button, and the device connected instantly with Google Find My Device without any additional app installations. However, it’s worth noting that the tracker is not waterproof. **Key Settings**: To ensure optimal functionality, you should enable the setting in Google Find My Device to locate offline devices "with network in all areas." This setting enhances tracking accuracy as it allows your device to contribute to the network. Importantly, the contributing device doesn’t need to have its Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to be on all the time. **Website Access**: The Jio Tracker Go cannot be viewed from the Find My Device website because its private encrypted key is stored on the activation device and any device with which the tracker is shared. This intentional design choice is explained further on the Google Find My Device blog. **Battery Life**: The battery life is reliable and should last up to one year. It uses a CR2032 battery, which is readily available online. However, the durability of the battery cover after multiple openings is questionable. **Use Case**: I purchased this tag to help me locate my car in large multi-level parking lots, such as those in Gurgaon's Ambience Mall. **Tracking Performance**: The accuracy of the tracker depends on the number of nearby devices with the appropriate settings enabled. In my experience, the tracking has been very accurate, showing the recent or last updated location within 5 meters, and sometimes even 1 meter. However, it doesn’t provide location history. **Security**: For security, Google and Apple have implemented a system to support unwanted tracking alerts in iOS and Android since May 2024. This feature ensures that you are notified if an unknown tracker is detected near you, preventing potential stalking incidents. Overall, the Jio Tracker Go is a reliable device for locating items, with easy setup, good battery life, and robust security measures. However, its lack of waterproofing and the inability to view it on the Find My Device website are notable limitations.

Finally a tracker compatible with Google's find my device network - and it's good!
I had been using a Samsung Tag 2 for about a year now. It's good, but has limitations - particularly being tied to Samsung devices for tracking as well as updating the location. The Jio tracker Go launched as India's first android tracker compatible with Google's find my device network. I used it extensively for last 24 hrs, and I am quite happy with it, and thinking I'll replace it as my tracker for usecase where I otherwise used the Samsung tag 2. The tracker can be added either from Find my device app or Jio Things. As I am not a fan of Jio's ecosystem and apps, I set it up from Google find my device app. Despite Google's default setting being update location only in high network traffic areas - i saw the tracker's location refresh quite frequently, like every 10-15 mins at night and every 5 mins in day. I live in a big city, so this may vary in smaller towns. Additionally, ability to share the tracker is a big plus. I can now share with any android user and not restricted to within Samsung ecosystem anymore. The device itself is of decent build quantity - not as premium as Samsung tracker, but cheaper, thinner and lighter. The Jio tracker isn't water proof either, so you have to be cautious about that. Overall, it's a value for money and a big step towards smart trackers scene in India. P.S since no cases are available, I used an air tag case and cut it out in the middle to allow stretching it to fit the Jio Tag Go in it. Update: I observed that location history is not available in Google Find My app. It only shows the last updated location, unlike Samsung tag which shows a history of all locations where the tag was detected. Also, I noticed people complain about nearby iphone and android devices being notified if the tag has been near them a long time. This is intentional - even a rouge airtag near you will be notified by an iPhone or an android phone. This is to prevent tags being used to stalk people. It's not a shortcoming of jiotag in particular or android tags in general, but an intentional security feature added by Google and Apple. If you are interested, you can read more about how Google's find my device network rollout was delayed while they waited for apple to build enhancement to identify and report rouge android tags.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT - MINUS 10 STARS
MINUS 10 Stars....ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE — GETTING HELP HAS BEEN INFURIATING!!! The JIO Air Tag won’t connect to the Apple Find My app at all. It only connects to the JIO Things app, and even then, it only works within an extremely limited Bluetooth range. Moving just from one room to another causes it to disconnect. AND THERE’S NO OPTION TO RETURN IT. I’m beyond frustrated trying to get any support! First, I called the JIO 1800 helpline and was left waiting for 25 minutes, only to be told to visit a local JIO store. When I went there, the staff had no clue about this product and told me to go to a Reliance store instead. At the Reliance store, nobody helped me and just sent me back to the JIO store. No one has offered any real assistance. Now this useless Air Tag is just sitting in my drawer — completely unusable and non-returnable. What a total waste of money and time!

Good investment if you have important thing to be preserved.
I have received the package in very good condition I had no problem in receiving or ordering the product. It is working so well. I don't know why the ratings of this product are so low. This product is too good for me it can track up to 10 km I have tested it ,really you should buy it, if needed. And it is easy to find cause it uses Google find my hub it gets a perfect location like you have ever used Google maps and directions it's the same you can see its directions by Google find my hub app you can find its parent tutorial easily on YouTube. And it is solid it is very compatibility, it is durable but it is made of plastic and it is safe to carry it also comes with double sided tape and extra battery.

Only buy if you have an iPhone. Android app - Jiothings sucks!
It is a cheaper alternative to Airtag. Works as the airtag works. Here are the things you should keep in mind before buying:- - It's not an GPS tracker or it's alternative. - The tracking happens with Apple Find My network which works pretty well if you have an iPhone. BUT BUT in case you have an android phone the tracking happens with JioThings community (which at moment doesn't even exist as no one has JioThings app in their phones), so with Android you won't be able to track it if it is not within the range of your phone. AND ALSO it means, If you live in metro city which has great amount of iPhone users it will track regularly BUT if you live in tier2-3 city the tracking won't be as regular. - I use it for my car key and once my father took my car and I was unable to track it with my android app even once but I was able to track it with my iPhone (my father doesn't have an iPhone, he uses android). - Android app totally sucks. The jiotag rings when I ring it with Find My app on iphone but doesn't ring with Jiothings app on android. Now I can't understand why the app is even for? Android app has poor interface with 0 usability. CONCLUSION: If You have an iPhone and want to track your valuables (within your iPhone's bluetooth reach) go for it. You can't track it continuously if the tag is not within your bluetooth range. Android users don't buy it. It's useless for you.
