Good quality, but not sure about the fit around my thumb
I got the right hand version of this wrist brace in a S/M side. The lightweight brace does feel like it provides some support and immobilisation for my wrist and hand. The component parts of it seem to be decently made - the quality seems to be good. The packaging states that it can be hand washed and air dried, but not machine washed, dry cleaned, bleached or ironed. All of that makes sense - it's what I would expect with a brace like this.If I have a caveat about this brace, it would be that it feels quite stiff around my thumb. As you can see, my thumb fits into the hole in the brace. But the neoprene material above my thumb doesn't give as easily as I'd like for comfort. And the S curve that fits around the bottom of my hand while helping to make the brace fit closely to that section of my hand and wrist, also means the neoprene next to the base of my thumb is pressing in a bit around my thumb.I understand that everyone's hands are different, and also different people may want a different level of support. So this might be an issue that relates to my having small hands, or the specific fit of my thumb with this brace. But it's perhaps something to keep in mind if you're planning to do anything that requires you to move your thumb a lot.

Adjustable and rigid, but also super comfy.
My mother tripped over the dog and in trying to save her teacup during the fall, has sprained her wrist. Nice. I had wrapped it up in sports tape, but she keeps waving her hand around anyway, so this is a much better alternative to force her to rest up. The ridging halts the movement in your wrist when wearing it, and keeps your hand at an angle that allows optimum healing in the joint. Like all support braces, it is weirdly comfortable even though it prevents you properly moving. Makes your wrist feel safe and secure; I almost didn't want to take it off when I tested it. The straps are adjustable so as long as you're an adult it'll fit whatever size wrist you slot it over. At a push you can wear it on the other hand as a stop-gap, but it won't be as comfortable or feel as natural.I think it's great to keep one of these in the medical kit so you have it ready for when you need it.

Good support but not suitable for larger hands
This is shorter than others I have tried but I was initially impressed with the support it gave to my wrist. It's officially a L/XL but I was unable to use the strap at the top to cover my hand as the strap it too short. There is a certain amount of stretch but it is about 2 inches too short to comfortably strap over my hand. My hands are on the large size but they are not huge either.I ended up using it with the strap at the top folded over itself, but with the good support on the wrist section (where my issues are), it was still secure enough to help relieve my symptoms and provide a brace that avoids my wrist moving too much.If it wasn't for the badly designed upper section surrounding the hand, I would have given this 5 stars.

Well made but too tight
This arrived in high quality branded packaging. This feels very well made out of high quality material. On my left hand it fits really well, the rigid material just say nicely on the contour of my hand. The front strap fits great and easy to adjust. The problem I have is the rear strap doesn't have the velcro in the correct place so I have to have it too tight to fit. I fully appreciate everyone is different and will want this to their personal liking, but this was too tight for my wrist so I can't wear it. A slight change in the velcro positioning would have worked great.Note, this says XL, I would suggest a big person (I am not) would struggle to use this.

Very supportive
I had been using the basic hospital support brace, where there was only one plate that sat at the front of the wrist., this one has a plate either side of the wrist offering a lot more support. Putting it on is very easy and feels comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I wear mine at night time as I have a thumb brace that I have to wear in the daytime, and I find it ok throught the nightI would therefore recommend this

Bit fiddly to get on
I have broken my fibula and have to use a crutch so got this to support my wrist which is not the strongest . Its quite fiddly to get on as it has one Velcro bit then another fastening where you have to put it through a loop then stick to the Velcro ( see 2nd blurry pic ) . That's quite fiddly to do with only one hand . However once I got it on it felt very comfortable for most of the day and appears well made . I got the s/m . I have REALLY tiny wrists and it only JUST about fitted so in hindsight would have been better off with next size up . I have been wearing it for about 6 hours now and its feeling just a tad too tight so think about size when you order as the s is really small . I cannot see this size fitting an adult male

Does the trick
The brace provides very good support for the lower hand and wrist. I bought the recommended size which was a bit tight initially. It seems to be easing up with use. It is little warm but I suppose any wrist wrapping would be. It is a little cumbersome to wear but this too is inevitable for such a device. I can still type wearing it and even play the piano a bit!

Very lightweight
The doctor told me to get a support glove with a metal splint for my hand as i have had carpel tunnel for many years. The metal in the inner palm affects your ability to bend your wrist down, as when it is down it puts pressure on the nerves and causes numbness and pain.I initially got this glove to sleep with, but the material is so light and soft it’s comfortable enough to wear during the day too. My hand feels lighter in just the few days I've been using it.I really love how soft the material is.
