A: Do you mean on a piece that is already finish?

**Q: Do they give instant result or do you have to wait hours like vinegar salt solution? Im assuming they will work with brass?**
A: Pretty quick, but time always makes it better. Not as long as fume patination or vinegar/salt, though. Yes to brass, the cleaner the better.

I was using a sulfur smelling patina solution and, while it worked O.K., it stunk!. These Swellegant Patina's are almost oder free andproduce a great patina or darkening on the metals.
