I emailed Jonon, to find out where the leather/bag was manufactured because I'm very conscious about animal and environmental welfare. They ignored my question. When the bag finally showed up, 5 weeks after purchase, it had an intense chemical smell and turns out it was sourced from China. Unfortunately I will have to pay the return fee.I should note, the design of the bag was as seen in the photos.

cannot use handbag or shoulder bag this item is great holds everything I need plenty of room for my phone and other items.
