Review: Fit with just a few adjustments! - This was exactly what I needed. However, I am a girl who has never replaced a normal lock, much less a mortise lock. The instructions consisted of a very short series of pictures that covered 3 different installation types. I had to redo this about 3 times. Good thing I had drill bits suitable for metal.
Review: Mortise Locks are a thing of the past. - I bought this mortise lock to replace the original mortise lock that came with a security door I bought from Home Depot. This was exactly what I needed. However, I am a girl who has never replaced a normal lock, much less a mortise lock. The instructions consisted of a very short series of pictures that covered 3 different installation types. I had to redo this about 3 times. Good thing I had drill bits suitable for metal.
