I bought the Comfhouse single-cylinder deadbolt in satin nickel as a simple replacement, and overall it does what it’s supposed to do. The finish looks clean and modern, and it matched my existing hardware pretty well. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long at all, which was a big plus. That said, the build quality feels a bit lighter than more expensive brands. It works fine for everyday use, but the key action isn’t the smoothest and doesn’t feel as sturdy as higher-end locks. I’d say it’s good for interior doors, garage entries, or rental properties, but I probably wouldn’t rely on it as the main lock for a front door where security is a bigger concern. Overall, it’s a decent value for the price—just know what you’re getting. If you need something basic and affordable, it gets the job done.

Great product

The lock is on the smaller side bc it went in a door and it doesn’t fit the hole and it’s a normal door from Home Depot. Also it didn’t the front circle where the key goes that started to til forward. I couldn’t tighten both sides bc the lock wouldn’t lock right. It’s no for me but im to lazy to change it but I need to bc my whole house is covered by a 10 suspect lock

Bought this deadbolt to replace the old one on my front entry door. The door needs to be replaced as the frost gets inside the door and into the lock assembly and wrecks the locks every couple years. Replacing the door soon but needed a cheap deadbolt ASAP to get rid of the old one that had rusted up and was about to break from frost and ice getting inside the assembly. Seems high quality, was easy to install. Came with clear and precise instructions and mounting equipment. Also came with 3 keys which was nice so I was able to make 3 sets of keys for the door. 5 star rating cause it worked as intended, build quality seems legit, came with 3 keys and can't beat the price (paid $18.99 CDN before taxes). Have included photos after installation onto my old crummy door. Had to re-adjust the position of the deadbolt after the install a few times so the bolt would open/close without force. Unsure why, could have overtightened bolts but never had that issue before with previous deadbolts. Only tool you need is a Phillips screwdriver if using on a door with holes already drilled out. I'd recommend using a flashlight or headlamp during assembly so you can easily align the bolts through holes. The outer portion of the deadbolt came in two pieces and you have to really hold it in place while attaching the interior part of the lock more so than ones I've installed by other brands previously that I could recall.

This is the worst lock ive ever seen, maybe I got unlucky and got a broken one, but if not it is very badly designed. The bolt works perfectly in the 60mm set up, but when I put it at the 70mm one the bolt gets lose and dosnt want to align itself with the hole. The instructions I got with the lock is not the same model as the one I have.
