PROFESSIONAL quality!!
Although the oil drain pan is overpriced, because it is so well made, I will recoup my money over the years. The design and material are so well planned that I plan to "Will" it to my grandson!!

The lowest priced, BEST low profile oil pan for your motorcycle
EXCELLENT true profile oil pan with plenty of space for 4+ quarts. This is the lowest priced low profile oil pan on amazon, just so you know. By the grace of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, I have a 2024 Suzuki Boulevard C50 motorcycle . Without this oil pan, there was no way I could change the oil with it just being on the kickstand ( and yes, I put a wooden block underneath the kickstand to make sure that the motorcycle was straight).

A must have for do it your selfers.
Function works well, caps and drain close tight. Just needs to be a little larger to collect the splashing when draining. Happy with product.

Awesome
Big enough to prevent spilling.

Well made, would recommend for vehicles with 5-6 quart capacity
I thought I'd use a piece of scotch pad to keep oil from splashing. It slowed the oil drain so much it ran over the edge. Lesson learned. It holds 10-quarts and my truck holds 8. Should be perfect. I recommend this product for a vehicle that holds 5 quarts. My 8 quarts made it difficult to pour unto the oil storage container at the parts house because it was so full. I'll remove the cap before pouring the oil into the storage next time too because it slipped sideways on the collar strap and fell in the way of the draining oil. Live and learn. Overall I think this can is fine and worked as designed. It worked especially well under my wife's car (5qt) and poured out better with my 2nd experience using it.

Leak
The media could not be loaded. Got the drain pan the other day. Opened the drain plug on my car, had the oil flowing out into the pan, got up to grab a towel and a bottle of water only to come back and see half of the oil over the garage floor. Pan had a hole on the underside I didn’t see. I was very upset because I was really trying to stay clean. Luckily I had the floor epoxy coated.

Good value.
This will hold a lot of oil. Appears to be good quality.

The Advertised "Deep Drain Well" is Not So Deep - Excessive Splashing Is Likely!
I like that this vessel hold 16 quarts (enough for 2 full oil changes).Having said that, a deeper drain well would make it much better.Previously, I used a large, deep, open oil drain pan that is troublesome to clean up after, although it does have a drain spout with screw-on cap. But the drained oil never splashed outside the pan.Not so with Performance Tool W4077. First time usage really caught me off guard. Thankfully, I always use large sheets of cardboard with a sheet metal oil drip pan under my oil catcher. Still, the initial splashing was much more than expected, and still made a sizable mess. What a mechanic who uses this drain pan needs to know: The oil drain flow needs to be aimed right at the W4077 drain hole. Any oil that hits the side of the hole will splash. At this time, I'm undecided which method I shall continue to use in the future. Perhaps I'll try taping cardboard to the sides as a splash guard. That or find an easy way to lift the catcher higher off the driveway. The W4077 does allow for easy storage and transport of waste oil.
