This is a quality built bag with a very classic “old school” design. Which is exactly what I was looking for.So the good stuff: The bag’s stitching seems to be well done, the material seems sturdy and the zippers and cords pull and function well. I’ve not been able to test the bag extensively outside yet, but I did take about a two hour nap in my hammock in rainy mid 40s weather (using a sleeping pad but no under quilt) and was comfortable. I was wearing socks, a pair of jeans and a light long sleeve shirt. The bag lacks a draft collar around the top and zipper, so I’m not sure how much past the low 40s it could be pushed without being a little uncomfortable, but that would be beyond the bags intended purpose anyway, so I don’t consider that a problem.I did some testing of the water resistance (see the video), and it indeed does a fine job keeping light water out. I allowed it to pool up and sit for several minutes and the inside stayed dry. This will keep things like spilling some water on yourself at night from becoming a cold mistake.The bag fully unzips into a blanket (this was the primary reason I wanted it). Being able to do so gives a lot of flexibility in use (esp. if you’re in a hammock). This is something that a lot of more modern mummy bags are not great at.To note, this is a very narrow bag in terms of a rectangle sleeping bag. Much more on par with the width of a mummy bag. I consider this to be a great thing, as most rectangle bags are very wide. That extra width decreases the overall warmth of the bag. The ECOOPRO bag is narrow enough that there is no wasted space (I’m about 5’9” and around 160 lbs), and thus the bag warms up quicker from your body heat.While I consider the narrow width a plus, if you’re looking for a very wide bag, this one may not fit your needs. If however you want a space efficient, narrow line bag , that is more traditionally shaped (rectangle so it can easily double as a camp blanket) at a price that is half what you’d pay for even an entry level “brand name” down bag, this one is worth looking at. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love it. The zipper is terrific. It did not bind or grab snag even once. And I have to get up 2 times a night. Great foot room and hip room. I'm a tossed turner. I wear a 44 jacket and a little snug across the shoulders but not really just compared to the great hip foot room. Did not seem to accumulate moisture at all. Very quiet too. On a chilly 60 degree windy night I threw my woody over me for added warmth. 75 degree nights I just used it as a blanket and was comfy. I like my feet in the foot box of the bag. Took this sleeping bag on a Scout trip to Florida Sea Base in December. Camped on a barrier island for 5 nights using this bag. I'm a "cold" sleeper - I usually take the ratings and add 10F to them for my use. Here's my thoughts and why I rated it as 4-stars:PROS -- Sleeping bag is very lightweight and compact. Approx. 8" dia. x 11" lg. fully compressed, and ~ 2lbs with the sack.- Sleeping bag is comfortable for temps down to about 50F inside a tent.- Sleeping bag was a good value at ~$50.- Sleeping bag is reasonably roomy for a 6' 180lb male of average Dad-bod build, compared with most mummy bags.- Double zipper at the bottom lets the feet breathe if it gets too warm- Green color was not unattractive, and did not show any sand stains/dirt after the 5th night camping on the beach.- Zippers did not bind or "zip in" the thin polyester fabric. I was pleasantly surprised this did not happen.- Unzips fully into a decent blanket. I used it this way on a couple of the nights where lows were in the upper 60's.CONS -(Keep in mind that this is an inexpensive sleeping bag. As such, it is missing some of the niceties of more expensive bags like TNF, Marmot, Big Agnes, Nemo, and others.)- The fabric is really thin, and most seams are single stitched. Not sure if this might compromise the long term durability of the sleeping bag.- Compression sack straps do not have the loose ends sewn/fused well, and may fray over time. They also tend to come out of the plastic strap adjusters too easily.- The down is not evenly distributed in the little diamonds/square pockets that are sewn into the bag.- The diamond/square pockets for the down are not gusseted, meaning there are only patches of down covering you, and the sewn seam areas at the edge of each square/diamond have the fabric only. Great for breathability, not so much for warmth.- This sleeping bag needs washing with Nikwax Down Direct (or some other down-safe detergent) prior to first use to get out the manufacturing smell.- Compression sack needs a strap across the bottom of the bag for aiding in removing the sleeping bag from the sack, and for easier carrying.- Despite the claims, the polyester fabric really isn't water resistant for any large amounts of water, or any significant period of time. Water soaks in the seams pretty quickly.As with any piece of camping equipment, the design needs to match the intended use. This bag is not designed, and will not work well, for low temps. or damp conditions.
