Easy to learn and play. Everyone loves it!

If you like playing Ticket to Ride, and want to stack blocks to make buildings then Tower Up is for you. Your turn is either taking building materials, or placing them on the board. Placing the materials on a Tower requires you to contribute to each building around it as well. This means that decisions are easy at the beginning, but get more constrained as you go along. Pros: * I've played three times and can teach others how to play in 5 - 10 minutes * Playtime with 3 - 4 new players is less than an hour * Strategy is required, but experienced players don't run away with the win * Getting bonus turns allows for unexpected shifts Cons: * The city map is rather generic. If you need a "role" to play, you'll find the game a little flat at the start. I've seen players not know where to start, because the map is too abstract. A few adjustments such as naming the city districts or basing the board on a real city would help folks engage from the start. * I wish the building materials were named wood, concrete, or something.

Great board game for casual gameplay. Games last 45-90 minutes. Very approachable for newbies or non-gamers. Unlike other games that require constant focus, this one is more laid back. That being said, there are quite a few ways to win which keeps us coming back.

Good table presence, has simple rules, you can change the scoring requirements each time you play. The game doesn’t fit well in the box, the card tray could be upgraded.

This game is easy to learn, quick to play and a blast! It also packs nicely into the box unlike some other games. Highly recommend!

This game is AMAZINGLY FUN!!!! If youlike ticket to ride style games or strategy games this is a must buy . Right out of the box you can really see the thought and effort that went into this game . The contents of the box were perfectly designed and flawlessly pieced together. Everything just makes sense . The directions are even done very well. Don't lose the manual it will come in handy for a while. Even the board is designed well. For 2 player games you play one side of the board (slightly smaller) for 3-4 players you play the other side of the board. Gameplay has so many possibilities as well. It's a very fun finding new ways to win with this game . Must add to you game night rotation!!!

Well-made pieces and playing board. Has two playing areas, depending on number of players. A very well thought-out game with clear instructions. The city areas are little hard to discern, though.
