I could have saved the tag2 from being scuffed up hanging on the D ring without tag protection. My dog's collar is on the skinny side, and a wider collar may fit better and also prevent further sliding and moving. I have seen similar type designs mentioning that the ends may be too thin where the collar slides through and may break more easily in the long run. Had no problems fitting the tag inside or inserting the round cap.

glad i found this bc just clipping it to his harness wasn't working.. kept getting knocked off while he played with other dogs.. now I don't have to worry about it getting knocked off. great quality.

This fits the smart tag 2 well. I previously had it dangling on my dogs collar - clipped to the D-ring. This gets it up and out of the way and I feel like there is less chance of it breaking off by accident or somebody accidentally clipping the leash to the ring of the smart tag instead of the D-ring (this happened once with the original smart tag). It took me about 6 tries to get this on the collar oriented the right way - that was a series of brain farts on my part - but eventually got it oriented how I wanted it. Should last a long time.

It was easy to slide in the smart tags, however, the part that threads onto the collar seem a little flimsy. I currently have them on two of our family dogs and they work well and don't move around which is key. I wish the parts that thread onto the collar were a little thicker.

I'm really happy with this 2 pack of Smart Tag holders. The Smart Tags are held securely inside. The holder threads through a dog collar or other similar sized bands. I've tested it out on 2 of my small dogs. It definitely fits better on thicker collars than the thinnest tiny dog collars, but holds securely on both. It holds the tag flat against the collar so the tag isn't dangling. I don't think my dogs noticed anything different when these were attached. I also like that you could slip this on the strap of a backpack or other items. They are all black and look pretty non-descript, so I think it will be great for helping keep tabs on my laptop backpack when travelling. Sure, you could put the device inside your bag, but if you are like me and sometimes need to ring your device to find where you set it, it makes it much easier to hear the ring if it is attached to the outside of the bag. Definitely recommend!

I was looking for a smart tag holder that would hold a different brand of tag, and this one works great! Because it is longer and stretchable, I was able to fit my off-brand tag inside - I didn't want the tag dangling from our dog's collar, and this works perfect! Since it's an off fit, of course the plug doesn't fit to make it waterproof, but it fits inside and attaches to his collar with ease.
