These FlexSteel line of flap wheels are, hands down, an amazing product. Many manufacturers claim longevity with their brands; however, this is the first time I have genuinely noticed a flap wheel lasting longer. They are trimable and this feature also gives you a new edge to start working with. I have worked in many fab shops before owning my own, and see many wasted flap wheels once the edge gets worn out and that's totally losing money. Not only do these flap wheels last longer compared to other brands, the feature gives you additional life. This product also has special technology that allows the abrasives to self-sharpen when the wheel is being used under less pressure than that of which would be used for heavy material removal. These disc are better than all the brands I've tried. That being said the cost does not make them a good choice. They would have to last 3 times longer than the other brands they do not. Maybe if they cost 25 it would be worth it at almost 50 not cost effective.
