I received the Kinera Magic Rope with the purchase of a used Meze Advar. Like this Leyding cable, that one allows the user to swap three different plug terminations. While that cable is very good, there was a significant flaw in the design: the connection between cable and plug was very weak.That flaw has been corrected with this design. The cable and plug connect well inside the "butt" end of the plug and it is a very firm, strong connection indeed. Whereas the previous cable's design made it highly unsuitable for use on the go, the design of the Leyding means you can use it without concern anywhere.And because it sounds great, you may actually want to do that. The cable is light, the cinch bead works well, the cable looks good (always a plus), and it's hard to beat the convenience of three termination choices.For my old ears, A/B testing cables is a chore. Using my IMR Enigma IEMs with this cable, everything sounds like it's in the right place. Testing some tracks where I've notices some sibilance before, the Kinera seemed to smooth things a little bit. And, one my sub-bass testing tracks, there was plenty of rumble.This is a great option and the carrying case is nothing to sneeze at, either!

This a review of the Kinera Leyding IEM Cable. The black and brass color scheme is really sharp looking. I kind of wish the connections were black as well though as opposed to shiny silver. Just my preference for a very subdued look. The flexibility of the cable is great and coils very nicely without tangles. The chin slider adjusts easily but stays put where I want it after setting. The ear hooks fit my ears perfectly and might be the most comfortable I have used. The packaging and box is very premium and includes a zippered case so this upgrade cable could make a great gift.Overall I like the Kinera Leyding IEM Cable way more than I expected to and plan to keep daily driving it on my favorite IEMs, the ARTTI T10, even though the stock cable that came with those is really good in its own right.

Having several devices all with different headphone sizes, this was a perfect solution allowing just the tips to be change rather than the whole cable.Well finished cable which is also a great replacement for most standard in the box, supplied cable with IEM's these days. I use these with my Meze Alba's and for me personally the difference in the IEM's performance is Night and Day difference.
