Great price for a lightweight battery
I have had this battery for a few months now. I installed it on my 2008 Honda Fit. It's a great fit, but you need to buy some SAE terminals and have something to keep the battery from coming loose. I padded it with the cardboard pieces that this battery came in. It works great. My car starts way better than my old battery, even in the cold. So far so good. If there's anything wrong in the near future, I will update this battery.

Great Battery
Like many reviewers my KLR650's battery died. It was the original battery the "stealership" installed last year (18 model bought new in 19) when I bought the bike. The "stealership's" provided battery was the wrong type - reversed terminals which prevented the drip tube from being installed / used with the battery. I've used Deka in the past (in my other two bikes) and had good results. The Deka battery turns the KLR650 over much faster (due to the larger CCA's / capacity) than the original ""stealership's" and makes for an easy start. As long as the battery is charged and not allowed to deplete itself one should expect 7-10 years of life.

Battery won’t hold a charge
I bought this battery after lots of research for a motorcycle I was building. I virtually never leave reviews but my experience with this battery has caused so many negative events to happen to me, it’s worth it to mention here.Out of the box, battery was below 60% which is why my bike didn’t fire up after getting it fully assembled. I put it on a tender I had and once popping it in the next day, sure enough, started right up.Fast forward to me getting an enhanced safety inspection done on my bike, so it sat for about a month in a garage. When I went to pick it up and ride it home, it won’t not start, it needed a jump, and it promptly died on me halfway home.I took the battery home, tended it again (sure enough it was dead), brought it back to my bike, started right up. I’ve ridden it every few days (for about a couple weeks since finally being able to legally ride it on the road). First I noticed my turn signals stopped working, so I drained my fuel tank to remove it, and I’m knee deep in my electrical wires trying to diagnose the root cause. As I periodically turn my key in the ignition to give it power and test any connections I’ve fixed, I started noticing flickering on my dials, some of the diode lights on the dials not turning on, and now my front and rear turn signals are just not working. So I decided to pop the battery out AGAIN. Threw it on the tender, less than 60% juice. You may call it a dud (I know it happens) but this is utterly infuriating and makes me think this battery is absolute garbage. I get bit having a charge out of the box, but what, it just doesn’t hold a charge now?I bought this because it’s US made, right in the state I live. I even read that these are apparently a direct copy of the Big Crank batteries, which I’ve heard stellar reviews from. But this battery is just awful. Hard stop. If you’re reading this review, strongly consider something else. Mine may be a dud, but do you want to gamble on getting stranded mid-ride, or not being able to start up your bike to return home from somewhere? Probably not.

Deka Sports Battery EXT-15L
The battery was delivered on time and had a 70+% charge... within reasonable levels. A quick 30 minute charge brought the battery to 100%. Fit and hook-up went smoothly and fairly well. The battery has been in the KLR 650 for approximately 12 days, due to rain and weather conditions... the bike has only been fired up three times... The battery doesn't lag or hesitate to start the bike. It's not a light weight unit, but I purchased it for durability and longevity.
