Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this product because it had a 4 star rating and thousands of reviews. When it arrived I was a bit sceptical, the netting seemed very flimsy and the tape width seemed a bit thin. But it was so cheap, and I really did need to have a window open overnight in this weather, I decided to give it a go. I decided to iron the netting on a low heat setting first off, to get rid of creases caused by it being folded inside the packaging. It instantly looked better after that. I then measured it and cut it to size with sharp scissors. I wiped down the window frame where the tape would go and dried it thoroughly. Then I cut the tape to size and secured it, gently at first, but once in place, I used the plastic end of a screw driver to run along the tape, applying a bit of pressure, so that the tape would stick more firmly. It was then easy enough to fit the netting in the window with it held in place by the velcro type tape. I managed to get the netting nice and taut across the window. It looks great! So glad I ironed it first! And the netting is easy peel away from the velcro in the instance of wanting access to the window for adjusting how open or closed you want it. I am so impressed, I’ve ordered more for another window. I chose the white netting and you can hardly see it. It took about 45 mins to do the whole job on a window 29x28 inches. But it was worth taking my time and doing it properly. Now I can leave that window open and not worry about insects flying in. Hoorah! 😃

Bought to keep spiders out, originally bought the black one and although it worked well, the holes were tiny making it a lot harder for bugs to get in. The white is still effective but not 100%. We have definitely noticed a drastic reduction in the amount of spiders we are getting since having these installed. Installation is a little bit fiddly, trying to cut the netting neatly but a sharp Stanley blade does the job. Simply stick the tape around the frame, place the netting on (do this with the window shut to allow the extra space for the handle) and cut off the excess. The white looks good on white frames though, can barely notice it at all which is good.

It's pretty good and easy to fit, great to leave the bedroom window open a bit wider than usual. I have a cat and she'd probably end up on the ledge outside or fall out completely lol. Also keeps midges out and flies.

The size was a little off from the measurements but I cut the end off and stuck it where I needed it and it worked fine. Keeps bugs out of my room so it does the job it was just a bit annoying to have to cut and stick the end off The sticky Velcro stuff is great and I’ve had mine up for about 2 months and it hasn’t budged at all, it’s great for keeping bugs out

So happy with this!! I can have my bedroom window wide open and I don't have to worry about spiders getting in or moths or whatever when the light is on at night. Easy to put up and it seems pretty well stuck down so yeah couldn't ask for better really. It's also barely noticeable on the window which is good.100% recommend!!

So i'll start by saying these do the job they are intended for. Flying insects in the house drives me potty, but in Summer, you need the windows open. I live near water so there is an abundance of flying creatures which seem to love an open window. Once installed, ive had my windows open constantly with no unwanted visitors. So from that perspective alone, great buy, that did exactly what i wanted. Its a very basic concept though, which is probably over priced and looks a little cheap. Its a simple piece of mesh fabric, with a small roll of velcro tape. You cut the tape to size and stick to the frame surrounding the window. Once the velcro surrounds the window, you cut the mesh to size and simply stick it to the velcro to cover the window. Mesh allows airflow, whilst blocking most other items from entering. To close the window, just peel the mesh from the bottom strip of velcro to allow to reach the handle. Then when re-opening, just re-seal the mesh to velcro. As above, looks a bit meh and is very basic, but its done exactly what i wanted, so i cant really complain.

On behalf of myself and my hamsters, I would like to thank the brain of whoever invented this incredibly magical creation. I can now safely exist in my bedroom with the window actually open without having to fight an eight legged demon for mere access to fresh air. Having this beautiful ability has helped my asthma dramatically so I bow to thee! HOWEVER, a little warning for those who have their window permanently open a small amount... spiders *chills* really like that little gap between the netting and the window... so much that I spent most of September saying 'Good Morning Annie', 'Goodnight Dave' to my two resident giant great house spiders. Although they look like death itself, they make pretty good therapists and the netting made social distancing a VERY important possibility. (For those interested, Annie and Dave started having 'parties' including other GIANT great house spiders to the point where I wasnt sure who's leg was who.. Sadly I was informed of the potentially horrific outcome of said 'parties' by my grandmother and promptly served verbal eviction notices to all residing behind the great magical netting and they left the next day!) Overall: ~ Strong Adhesion! I have even left the window open when it was heavily raining and during high wind. ~ The netting holes are small enough so you have no visitors, although I have noticed some tiny spiders hanging around my curtain *not babies.. I hope* ~ Although the holes are small the netting still allows a decent amount of air flow and dramatically helps with breathing if you're an asthmatic. 100% Recommend! Je suis absolument ravie et agréablement surprise de la rapidité avec laquelle j'ai pu installer mes deux moustiquaires hier. J'ai passé bien plus de temps à aspirer et nettoyer mon tour de fenêtre de la poussière, toiles d'araignées cumulées etc depuis l'été dernier qu'à installer cette moustiquaire. Pour résumer : on colle une bande adhésive comme on collerait du scotch et ensuite on plaque la moustiquaire dessus tout simplement. Personnellement j'ai d'abord fixé deux bords perpendiculaires de la moustiquaire comme ça je n'avais plus que deux côtés à découper ensuite pour ajuster à la bonne taille. J'ai pu le faire avec la moustiquaire déjà installée à l'aide d'un ciseau qui coupe bien... IMPECCABLE !!! J'ai même laissé un petit bord supplémentaire d'un ou deux centimètres sur chaque bord afin d'anticiper pour les fois où j'aurai besoin de la retirer et la réinstaller. Cela ne gêne pas pour la fermeture de la fenêtre. La vision d'ensemble n'est pas moche du tout, ni joli non plus, cela fait juste un voile blanc transparent devant la fenêtre comme pourrait le faire un rideau fin. Donc oui effectivement on ne peut plus se pencher par la fenêtre de façon spontanée, mais j'ai une telle hantise des araignées que la contrainte ne me dérange pas du tout ! Bien au contraire, cette moustiquaire me permet de laisser mes fenêtres ouvertes sans angoisser sur ce que je vais trouver à mon retour dans les chambres ! Une vraie tranquillité d'esprit ! Néanmoins je ne peux pas me prononcer sur l'efficacité sur le long terme. Actuellement il semble évident que compte-tenu de la taille des trous je me préserve au moins des araignées les plus grosses, des guêpes qui trainent beaucoup dans le coin cette années, des mouches, etc... mais reste à voir ce que cela donnera dans quelques mois après plusieurs ouvertures et fermetures de la fenêtre et peut-être quelques décollages et recollages de la moustiquaire. Certains commentaires évoquent l'inefficacité pour préserver les chats d'une éventuelle chute. J'ai moi-même un chat et pour le moment je n'ai pas expérimenté sa réaction face à cette installation puisqu'il n'est pas autorisé à aller dans les chambres. Mais un chat reste un chat et il lui arrive d'échapper à notre surveillance... je serais donc vigilante à sa réaction pour compléter mon commentaire mais il faut bien admettre que ce n'est pas prévu pour cela et qu'à mon avis un bon coup de griffe suffirait à déchirer ou décoller la moustiquaire. J'ai néanmoins espoir que le fait de voir ce voile blanc le dissuade simplement de sauter sur le rebord de la fenêtre. Affaire à suivre... ;-) Vous l'aurez donc compris, je suis TRèS SATiSFAiTE de mon achat (d'ailleurs j'en ai recommandé 2 pour installer également dans ma cuisine) et je RECOMMANDE ViVEMENT cet achat pour les arachnophobes comme moi ! :-P

Ho acquistato la zanzariera Tesa Insect Stop Attacca & Stacca STANDARD per le mie finestre e ne sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. L'installazione è stata incredibilmente semplice e veloce, grazie al sistema adesivo 'attacca e stacca' che non richiede attrezzi complicati o fori. La rete è di buona qualità, robusta e regolabile a piacere, il che mi ha permesso di adattarla perfettamente alle dimensioni delle mie finestre. Il colore bianco si integra discretamente con gli infissi, risultando quasi invisibile. Ma la cosa più importante è che fa esattamente quello che promette: tiene lontani tutti gli insetti! Finalmente posso tenere le finestre aperte anche la sera senza preoccuparmi di zanzare, mosche o altri ospiti indesiderati. La possibilità di staccarla e riattaccarla la rende anche molto pratica per la pulizia o per riporla durante i mesi invernali.
