Garmin Approach S10 Lightweight GPS Golf Watch, Granite Blue

Great to use, very professional watch. Love it

I have now used this watch a few times and it is very accurate. Easy to set up although I couldn't get the date working but that might just be me. Picks up the course within minutes of turning it on. You can also keep your score on this watch but I haven't used this as have a score card. I have checked different markers on the golf course, 200, 150 and 100 and all seem to be with in 1-2 yards. Gives you lay up distance for hazards and dog legs. this watch has given me an advantage with club selection I just need to start swinging at the same speed on every shot. Taken about 4 shots off each time I have played and this watch is working great for me. Tiger Woods watch out! Played 3 rounds over a weekend without charging it once so battery life is very good. only downside is the side buttons get pressed when on your glove hand so it takes a little time getting used to this and making sure your glove doesn't touch. very glad I bought this. Would highly recommend.

A very good golf watch, easy to use and holds a far better charge than my previous watch (Sky caddie SW2). i've had no problems with satellite link or with it identifying the correct course. I note in a few reviews that individuals have commented on these issues but suspect if you're patient with it isn't a problem. Very happy with this device. My only concern is the strap doesn't appear particularly robust.

I have used this for a couple of rounds without recharging sp pleased with the battery life. Appears to be accurate and very simple to use. I'm left-handed and wear the watch on my left wrist so I have to operate it wearing a golf glove (on my right hand) - still easy to use.

A really good piece of kit. Was umming and erring about what club tracker to get, I didn't want to have to remember to either tag the club before every shot, or to enter the club into a watch, and I'm delighted with this.V easy to use and set up, and post round results are 95% accurate. Gets a bit confused around the greens, especially if you carry two clubs in your watch hand (putter and chipper etc), but very easy to edit afterwards.Not having any problems with it picking up clubs (although I naturally play a few practise swings anyway), so genuinely just wear it and forget (without having to tap anything etc) as long as you remember to mark the watch over the hole (easy to edit again if you forget).The watch itself is quite big, but fits very well and isn't heavy. As a yardage watch alone it is very good, albeit a tad clunky looking.I'm sure in a couple of years everything will be smaller and even more reliable, but very happy with it and enjoy poring over all the stats.

This is the second gp golf watch we have bought . Easy to set up . But you do need to go outside for satellite to pick up date and time .

Nice and light to wear, and seems accurate. Battery life much better than my old one - get 3 rounds instead of 1.There are two main problems with it. It takes ages to locate a satellite; usually it times out and you have to start again, then you can choose the course you want. The other problem is less of an issue but irritating when it happens. Normally, it changes to the next hole OK but if it doesn't, it is fiddly to change manually. On my old Garmin S2 you just press one of the buttons to change hole; now yo have to press a button to say you want to change hole and only then can you change. The buttons aren't always responsive.

I previously had a high end touch screen garmin that did everything except make my coffee but it gave up the ghost while on a golf trip. Honestly, being a high handicaper, most of the functions were over my head.This one is simply easier to use and gives me everything I need. The gps readings are not always accurate, sometimes being 5 to 10 yards out when compared to a scope

I had been looking at these, but not too much as I have a rangefinder. Also this is available on the Apple Watch right?Then I played with a guy Franz he had this watch and was using it. It looked simple to use.I saw it here on Amazon for $99.99, I researched it and figured why not try it.Well worth it! The yardage constantly updates, no need to scope it. It also has yardages to hazards and also lay ups.A range finder won’t do that. Plus this measures your shots and also keeps score if you want.It doesn’t have a touch screen like the specs say. That’s fine by me. I prefer 4 simple buttons.I did try a few of the watch apps, they were not worth the trouble. This is simple and automatic.It updates the satellites and lets you choose your course where you are. It even changes the holes as you move to a new tee box.I really really like this watch. You can also wear it just for a watch. It shows the time in 12 or 24 hour mode.The distance can be yards or meters.It shows the date or sun up and sun down times.The colors. I got the blue originally thinking it was Navy. It’s a gray blue or blue gray color. A lot of dark gray in the color.The gray is a light gray, called powder gray.I prefer the black. Nice and dark. Navy would have been nice as well.Lastly the display is reversible black numbers on a white background or white number on a black background. Very easy to read, even for an old man. Easy to see in sunlight. You can also change the language on the watch if needed.Just buy it already.
