We had wind gusts up to 43mph today and this umbrella held up! I like the choice of colors and the sturdiness of this product, might even consider buying a bigger size one. I would tell anyone who needs a outdoor umbrella to get one of these. They are stylish, functional, and very weather resistant.

Great Price
We bought a beige color umbrella. It’s been a month and the color has already faded, but we figured it would as it’s not Sunbrella fabric. We mainly wanted it to shade the door to the back yard. We get a LOT of sun and the house faces west so the summer can get quite hot. We figured even if it only lasts one summer, it’s helped keep the heat down inside the house by shading the door area. We are very happy with it. Well made and it tilts!

Value and sturdy umbrella
On my exposed patio mounted on a metal tables. So far has withstood heavy winds and even blew off it's base once. However, no damage appears waterproof. Opens and closes with little effort.For $39 you can't beat the value! The Chinese are getting better at building quality products so give credit to them. Make sure you get a metal base. The pole slides in the center hole of the table into the base (sold separate. This will prevent the umbrella from sailing away during a gust of wind.I would prefer 8 foot instead of 7 1/2 wide cover.UPDATE: August 2024: This umbrella is used on our rear uncovered patio. It stays open unless strong wind is expected. No indication of wear, tear or fading. It has survived some strong raid wind and is waterproof. I would definitely buy another.

not great quality for the price
I had difficulty opening the umbrella with crank. It was so stiff. I had to manually help the umbrella open a bit to get the crank even started. Not a good product
