Excellent optic for Airsoft and beyond
I bought this optic for airsoft use, primarily in my sniper role, and it’s proven to be ideal for that purpose. For the price, I have no doubt it would also perform well on real-steel rifles. The overall build quality feels comparable to my more expensive Vortex optics. The reticle is clean and easy to read, and adjusting zero is simple thanks to the smooth, positive turret clicks. The locking turrets are a great addition—definitely not essential, but surprisingly convenient. Once I dialed it in, locking them down made it a true set-and-forget setup. Even though this is “just” for airsoft, yes—zeroing your optic matters. I typically run at 4x magnification, which gives the best eye relief, but even at higher zoom levels, this optic maintains comfortable eye relief, which is rare. I don’t often use the illumination feature, but it’s bright and clearly visible in daylight. Both color options are crisp and vibrant. I’ve had good experiences with CVLIFE across the board. Every product I’ve bought from them has been reliable and well-made, and this optic continues that trend.

Good for Air Rifle
I have this mounted to a Gamo Whisper air rifle and it works well. Attaches perfectly to the mini rail on top. The illuminated mil-dot reticle is a nice feature. Site picture is crisp and clear. Eye relief could be better but at this price point I ain’t complaining.

Excellent scope. Probably the one to get on a budget
Put this on the Ruger 10/22 with Picatinny rails, and it is great. The AO adjustment makes seeing things even at 10 yards sharp and in focus. I had purchased the 3-9x40 without AO adjustment scope also from CVLife, and that one could only see things in sharp focus at 15 yards and beyond. The illumination is nice, just like the cheaper CVLife illuminated scope. The dials on this thing are nice and solid. What I really love about this scope is the ease at which to adjust the MOA. You just pop up the dial, and twist, then pop it back down to lock. You can also reset the zero should you need to. The included scope rings are the same as the cheaper version, but they are by no means cheap themselves. They mount very solidly, and have a texture that gives a good grip on the rails. This includes flip pop lens caps for both ends of the scope. It's a nice touch. There's also a sun shade that you can attach (an extra length tube) to the end of one end. I find the scope to add substantial heft to my 10/22, which went from ~5.5lb to ~7 lbs. It's enough to be noticeable and does impact my stance and aim. Nevertheless, this is a great scope and I would heartily recommend to anyone who's looking in <$100, since it has every feature I could want.

Missing items upon delivery *Updated Review*
Updated Review: I ordered a replacement and this time all the parts were in the box. It's not mounted as of yet but just from turning it on and looking at objects at a distance tells me the illumination is bright enough to be seen in broad daylight. The overall build quality is best bang for your buck so don't expect anything elite. All dials are functional. Overall it seems like a good budget scope for recreational shooting. **Either the CV Life factory forgot to put the mount rings, battery and cleaning cloth in the box, or someone tampered with my box at amazon prior to packaging and delivering. I received 2 instruction manuals instead, a sunshade and the scope itself. No battery, no mounting rings and no cleaning cloth.**

Feature packed, great customer service
The optic is a great value for what it is. I put it on a spring airgun. It’s got a useable reticle, it’s got plenty of adjustment to get an airgun to 100 yards, the illumination has good range for lowlight or even daylight. It seemed to track pretty true, especially for a scope under $100. I could turn turrets and hit where I was expecting to and return to zero was reliable, at least for my purposes. The glass was clear enough for airgun use. I could make out .177 pellet holes at over 50 yards, and probably further if I’d actually put a hole in anything beyond that. It does tend to darken up as you get closer to the top of the mag range. It was easy to focus the reticle and the parallax can be dialed out easily enough. Parallax has a very small window before the image turns to trash. Great customer service. Excellent. The best I’ve ever dealt with. Unfortunately the eyepiece came loose on the one I have. It’s barely noticeable but I did notice an inability to keep the same zero. What used to be inside a 4” circle at 50 yards wallowed to 6” or more (missing the plate). I emailed cvlife and after only a few email exchanges of them offering ways to try to fix it without success, they made it right. No questions asked. Excellent customer service and I will not hesitate to purchase from them again. Very pleasant experience.

Run from this junk!!
If I could give it 1 star, I would. Total garbage, made of Chinesium. Elevation adjustment works fine, windage adjustment clicks like it should, but crosshairs do not move at all

Honestly really good for how cheap it is.
Honestly I’m pretty shocked. I expected this to be “passable” quality and maybe end up on a .22. The glass is not top tier, but it’s comparable to Bushnell or Tasco in the $200 range. The parallax adjustment works exceptionally well on mine and seems very accurate to distance. In fact at 100 and 200, the parallax movement is as good or better than my $450 Vortex. The reticle light works fine but rally doesn’t do much outside of very low light conditions. That’s fine, I didn’t really expect or want it to anyway. So far no drift or change in zero after 60 rounds on my .270. Honestly, it’s insanely good for $75. It would still be a solid purchase at $150-$200. Have much more expensive scopes, but I might buy another one of these just for my coyote gun. This scope has better features and better glass quality than the BSA Sweet223 that’s on it right now. My only complaint would be that magnification seems a bit overstated and it’s realistically probably more like a 4-14 than a 4-16, just by comparing to other scopes I own. I can’t speak for all of them, but the scope I got seems to be a real gem for the money.

So far so good
Attached to a bolt action 22 with about 150 rounds. It’s held zero so far but I’m cautious that it’s durable. For the price, I thought I would give it a go.

Good rimfire scope!
I mounted this on my 22Lr bolt action rifle (Norinco EM 332) and it has stayed zero after bricks and bricks of CCI Blazer. I can't speak for other heavy calibers but I can assure you this thing works fine on rimfire rifles.
