Review: Excellent value - Excellent value , works great and it's not as noisy as the flamma one
Review: Better than you'd think. - I have a few different variations of this mini pedal envelope filter. This one doesn't sound the same as the others. The Donner is muddier, but good. The Sonicake is peakier & has a slight wah notch when turned on. And the Wow Wah from Joyo has a completely different EQ sweep, and has strangely gurgled a few times like my SolidGoldFX Funk Lite ( which is an awesome filter for think fuzzes, and definitely isn't a cheap pedal - that pedal is all pro ) ... BTW, this AI Tone pedal is not an "automatic time synced filtering wah", thus, it is not really an auto-wah - it is a "pick sensitive envelope filter". The pedal actually has some " waomp" to it. Also has better potentiometer ranges than all of the cheap envelope filter pedals 9n the market. And doesn't initially color your tone when turned on. Nor does it suck your tone off or on. Has plenty of moments that are indistinguishable from the EHX QTron in low-pass mode, yet certain doesn't have all the sweet spots, but close. Of Which, this was the happiest of surprises about this pedal = I can find all my QTron settings on it. I ended buying 2 of them.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why doesn’t the envelope filter activate when I play?**
A: Envelope filters are dynamics-based effects, meaning they respond to how hard you pick or play. If the effect feels inactive, try increasing the Sensitivity control or using a stronger picking attack.

**Q: The filter triggers too aggressively. How can I smooth it out?**
A: If the filter sweeps too fast or sounds harsh, reduce the Sensitivity or adjust the Q control to soften the filter peak. Envelope filters are designed to follow your playing dynamics, so small knob adjustments can make a big difference.

**Q: Does this pedal add noise, hiss, or hum?**
A: When powered by a regulated 9V DC, center-negative power supply, the pedal operates with very low noise. Most noise issues come from unregulated adapters, daisy-chain power supplies, or nearby electronic interference, not the pedal itself.

**Q: Is it normal for the effect to sound different with different guitars?**
A: Yes. Envelope filters react to signal strength and playing style, so different guitars, pickups, or basses will produce different responses. This is a normal and expected behavior and allows the pedal to feel more expressive and responsive

**Q: Why does the effect feel subtle at low volume or light playing?**
A: At lower input levels, the filter sweep will naturally be more subtle. For a more pronounced effect, increase your picking dynamics or adjust the Sensitivity control accordingly
