CamelBak ThermoBak S (Short) Hydration Pack with 100oz (3.0L) Mil-Spec Crux Reservoir

It is truly awesome! I refrigerate the bladder overnight and it keeps cool for over eight hours in triple digit temperatures. And well insulated. The straps are well-made and everything is well stitch. The bladder holds up to 3 L but you can squeeze 3.5 L in it. The easy fill handle it super tough when holding to refill.I use it on the daily basis in the summertime end it takes a beating. It takes a standardize 5 1/2 mill spec name tape but has spacing up to 6 inches. The quick disconnect of the bladder and hose makes awesome for easy cleaning. it also has holes at the bottom for connecting through the side for different hose configuration on different gear sets and loadouts. Also has an extra sleeve on the back of it for maps or etc.

I LOVE THIS THING! Used mostly for riding my motorcycle (here in the desert)... It works PERFECTLY for everything I need. The shorter length doesn't interfere with my backrest. It keeps my water pretty cool... For longer than expected. The HUGE opening allows me to easily load 16oz ice chunks or get my big ol' hands in there for some serious cleaning. The water flow is much better compared to those of my friends. Provided straps work well... And, I have used the other multiple attachment points to use it while secured to the back of a MOLLE vest. Being my first hydration pack, I am SO GLAD I spent the extra money and didn't get some lower cost wannabe CamelBak!

Its a little shorter and but wider and still holds 3 liters. It comfortable to wear. It's a Camelbak. What more can I say.

The getting-started instructions are intuitive. I don't *think* I've had any leaks from the reservoir. It was probably in the top 80% of the bags available at it's price point. It feels OK to wear late into my 26+ mile bike rides on the stationary. Doesn't feel like it adds additional sweat on my back ... though in a long bike when you're going hard, who could really tell. Though I have strong grip, I was surprised at how easy it is to seal up the reservoir.However:The straps that adjust the bag that are below the snaps on the shoulder straps... they want to tighten themselves when I'm trying to keep them as loose as possible.When I'm trying to fill the reservoir at the drinking fountain water-bottle filler, about 1cm of the surrounding cloth/plastic around the opening gets in the way of me filling it up to the top, so it feels like I only get to about 85% filling it that way.These two things aren't a huge deal, but that's why it's a 4 instead of a 5.

I have used the camelbak products for over 25 years when in the military... excellent product!! I never had a issue with any from them.. I would recommend them to everyone..
