Honestly I think if I store it where I can see it, I am more likely to remember it is there. I like the straps on the bottom that hold my tripod, but I haven't yet found a way for my bag to stay upright when my tripod is on the bottom of the bag, but that is in no way a deal breaker! I am just happy to have a place to stow my tripod safely out of the way. With all my little items (multiple batteries, battery chargers, memory cards, and camera attachments, the camera, and my tripod, imthe bag still feels light and balanced. Also I like that I have the option of a removable strap plus a padded carry handle on top.
