Easy to set up, use, and clean
Got this to replace a faulty LR3. This has a much smaller footprint, taking up about as much space as a traditional hooded litter box. Nice, wide opening so it’s easy to top up with a scoop of litter as needed as well as easily accommodating our largest, floofy cat. The step to get in is also lower, so our smallest, disabled cat gets in and out with ease without purchasing steps etc. We have 6 cats so change the waste bag each morning, which isn’t a chore anymore thanks to the top bin - no more bending over far or having to kneel! After reading through user chat on FB for it, we decided to use the biodegradable handle tie food waste caddy bags and they do work a treat! Simply make sure the bag covers both sides with the handles underneath and you won’t have to worry about the gag slipping at at all, and at under £2 a roll from the supermarket, cheap and easy to get. Clumping litter is advised for it and in the LR3, we tried several until settling on Cat’s Best. Unfortunately, we ran out and when I ordered this, Amazon had a week lead time on getting some to me, so as we were doing a Morrison’s order, I ordered their fine clumping litter ( just over a fiver for 10l). It’s worked so well and we’ve not had any issues with doors that we’ve stayed with it. We’re averaging one bag for 3 1/2 weeks, even with such frequent use. Cleansing the machine is super easy. You take the cover off the side ( unplug it first) , unclip the pivot arm, lift off the glove ( it’s not heavy at all!) , tilt it so the clean litter goes into the used litter compartment ( so remove used waste bag first), then pkace on floor, remove used litter compartment and set aside. Then pick up globe and take it outside for a good rinse with the hose and a few drops of Fairy or enzymatic cleaner. Rinse out the dirty water, dry with an old towel, and pop it back in the vase, reclip the arm, put the clean litter in to level indicated by the arrow inside along the back, out the waste receptacle back and clise the lid. Then put the pivot arm back on and plug back in. Tada!

Good engineer design and easy to use automatic cat litter box!
EXCELLENT engineering design—simple but effective! This product offers great value for the money (and suporsingly its even cheapter than similar products!), improving both my cats' toilet experience and reducing my workload of cleaning their litter box. Most importantly, it's safer for cats compared to other automatic litter boxes. The one shown in my photo has multiple motion sensors, weight sensors, and infrared sensors to prevent cats from getting stuck between the bin and the roller. However, UBPET addresses this safety concern simply by: 1) keeping the door always open to the outside so cats can easily exit, and 2) ensuring that the bin spins with the roller, eliminating any edges where a cat could get stuck. It's also easy to clean. With the complete separation of the motor and roller, I can just lift the roller for cleaning without worrying about water damaging the electrical parts. This design also prevents the electrical components from rusting quickly due to damp litter residue on the walls. For odor control, I've been using it for three weeks now, and there’s no noticeable smell. The bin is fully enclosed with fewer gaps, so odors don't escape. The large opening and low entry are perfect for my big Ragdoll and my small Munchkin with really short legs—no extra tools are needed to help either of my cats use this litter box. As an engineer myself, I'm really impressed by the great design of the UBPET litter box. With fewer components, it's less likely to break easily (OMG, I hate it when sensors get blocked or broken, and I have to fix them myself! I know how easily things can break down when there are too many electrical parts). I genuinely recommend it! :)

Excellent
My cats love this. We've had it for a while now and are extremely happy with it. It's easy to use and definitely sturdy. If anything brushes up against it while it's in the cleaning cycle it will automatically stop moving so there's no worry of a cat getting injured. Has automatic cleaning cycle that you can program to your needs. The app notifies you every time the cat uses it, although I find it can't necessarily tell the difference between two different cats. My cats are quite different in size and it still can't tell which is which half the time. The bin is simple to change, there are two cats using it in my house and I'd say I need to change the bag in the bin around one or occasionally two times per week and the same goes for the litter. We are using Pettex silicone litter which works well. Cleaning it is a little trickier than a normal tray in that the lip around the outside catches litter as you try to pour it out making the last bit a little hard to get out of the tray. The drum itself isn't too heavy but with litter in it it is and it's quite bulky so it's a bit awkward to tip the litter out when you go to change it. It's also a little difficult to get the litter to accurately tip into a bin bag so do it on a bit of floor that's easy to clean in case some of the dirty litter spills or alternatively use a scoop or something similar to do it manually without having to tip it out. Cleaning with the shower head and some cleaning fluid is really easy. It doesn't smell much outside of the few minutes after it's been used although occasionally the flap that covers the bin stays slightly open and you can smell the bin; if that happens just open the bin hatch at the top and push the flap closed. I bought mine on deal for under £300 which is a very competitive price.

Good at first but faulty - No response from customer service
I bought this product in November for my two cats and it worked great at first. The app for tracking usage was useful and it was easy to clean. Occasionally the drum would get stuck every now and then and it would need switching off and on again to reset, I would get a device locked at roller or drum stuck notification. Over the past two or three months the product has started doing this more often and this has been really inconvenient. In the past two weeks this has stopped working altogether - every cleaning cycle the drum gets stuck or gets locked at the roller. This has led to our entire kitchen stinking of cat poo because when it looks the door to the waste is open. When we are work the cats have accidents and this has been difficult to manage as they used to this litter tray now. I'm now having to use an Alternative litter tray for the two of them and I'm really disappointed that it isn't working properly as this was bought to alleviate the issue of smell. I've tried contacting customer service or arranging a swap or return but I've not heard anything back nor been able to find someone to call.

A great idea
We’ve been using this for over a year and it’s amazing for 2 cats! It retains the litter well if you fit the extra door part, very easy to assemble and use, makes a small amount of noise as it rotates but cats aren’t bothered. Hardly any smell if you use a crystal deodorising clumping litter and the bin needs emptied roughly twice weekly. Really clever design and seems good value for money - durable so far! Made our lives so much easier

Great first impression
I don’t usually write reviews so I’m not too sure what to say, but I chose this one as I have two cats and I have been wanting one for ages, but they all are quite expensive, not exactly a casual buy. This one seemed to be the most reliable one and had a lot of good reviews. I can’t speak much about the longevity of it as I’ve only just received it today, but it definitely does the job. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were all clear. My cats are usually quite scared of anything electronic, especially if it makes noise. But one of them took to it in a matter of a few hours although still quite cautious. The other one is curious but will take some time to use it, by the looks of it. It’s much quieter than I thought it’d be, which is a big plus. The cycle does seem to last a little longer than I expected it to, but it really bears no issue on the use of it, just personally I didn’t expect it to take as long. As I have two cats, both relatively small in size but lengthy, I was worried about the space inside the pod as they’re used to a much bigger litter box, it didn’t seem to pose a problem. The cat that tried it didn’t have any problems getting inside and seemed to have enough space to turn around and do all that she needed. The waste bin is on the smaller side and it came without bin bags, but the bin liners I had at home fit perfectly and there doesn’t seem to be any problems with using them at the moment. There was some smell after the immediate use as expected with an open litter box, but it dissipated soon after and didn’t last. The smell once the waste bin hatch is opened though is strong, which is to be expected, but it doesn’t leak through. I can’t say anything about the app as I haven’t connected to it. I don’t need it and it works just fine without it. As I’ve only had it for a day, I can’t really say much more than my first impression, but I’ll try and post an updated review later on.

mmmm not sure is working
not worth it it just look cool and expensive when it turn around to scoop poop or urines everything stuck all over the place and smells and the hole entrance which its big and open so the cat throw out all the litter so always to clean the floor after use although occasionally the flap that covers the bin stays slightly open and you can smell the bin, to be honest it was better before with normal covered Big litter box if I knew it before I wouldn't buy it

Works great, no issues so far!
I read a lot of reviews for various automatic litter boxes, this one seemed to have the least negative reviews so ordered it with a sense of anxiety 😄. I have 3 cats so really needed something to help keep the litter box clean and ready for use. It arrived a day sooner than expected, shipping was updated to reflect this. Easy to set up and get initialised - It's just 4 bits to put together. My cats are very curious so got in it right away. They're not great with their aim but it's not really been an issue. Some reviews have identified a lot of urine leakage though I have not had that issue so far. I also feel some leakage is maybe to be expected if the cats pee up the side a bit. Also reviews saying it leaves skid marks after cleaning, also haven't had this issue and put it down to potentially the type of litter I use and knowing my cats poop needs time to dry in the litter before cleaning! I gave it a full clean which was easy to do, though, I definitely didn't leave it long enough before reassembly as it runs a programme to reset the litter once you clip it all back together. It seems pretty sturdy, and good quality. It's quiet when it cleans, the noise of litter tumbling is louder than the litter tray! Also smaller in floor footprint than a litter robot which is ideal in a flat. UPDATE: 3 months on - all my cats use the litter robot and I no longer have a backup tray. There has been some urine leakage due to one of my cats consistently urinating above the rubber tray. I have learnt to use slightly more litter than the rim of the rubber tray which stops the issue. I use a fabric doormat with rubber base under it to catch any leakage which means I can pop it in the wash. Smell has not been an issue other than when I need to change the collection tray. Cleaning remains simple, though you can't clean inside the case which also hasn't really been an issue currently and instead I just fill the inside with soapy water and let it sit while some runs through the case. It is a drawback, however, I still feel this issue is likely universal to all robot litter trays.

Great but leaks
I have this a month now only and it works great but leaks underneath, contacted customer service only to be told I need to send it back for a refund and they can’t offer a replacement. Contacted the company themselves and was told to contact Amazon so now I’m left with a machine that leaks or send it back and be without a litter tray for weeks to return, refund and reorder 🤬 tried to upload video but couldn’t

A must for your litter box
I purchased this because the sifter my litter box came in was not catching everything. I have had this for almost a year. It works great. Wipes clean easily, I can disassemble,if needed. Worth every penny.
