The headset is light and wearing it for hours is not a problem. Great technology and crystal clear sound and voice quality. Highly recommended. Buying a second charging cable is tricky with the bespoke charging socket

I purchased from Amazon.de a headset "Shokz OpenComm UC" (version 1) on 7 April 2023. Headset was great, and the main purpose I bought it for (clear calls, and perfect noise cancelling microphone) was fulfilled perfectly: everyone complimented the voice quality (even when I was driving in traffic or calling from noisy environments). Unfortunately, the headset stopped charging… so I returned it to Amazon, and they gave credit to buy a new one. On 15.02.2025 I purchased a Shokz OpenComm2 and unfortunately, from the very beginning, I had complains that everyone could hear the ambient noise during calls… no more noise cancelling!!!… I called Shokz support, and they said I didn't buy it from the "Shokz official Amazon store"!!! Which, I TOTALLY DID (under "Sold by" it said Amazon.de, and next to it it says visit the Shokz store!!!!) So, Shokz are refusing to assist, and Amazon... well... the return period expired... so there's nothign I can do... I can't even submit a request/complaint (there is no button)... So I’m at a loss… I regularly talk (many times a day) with elderly people, and they all complain about the quality of the calls (while I’m using the headset now), and I always have to resort to switching to just using the phone directly, without the headset… which is insane… given that this headset should have the best Shokz adaptive noise cancelling technology incorporated… This is EXTREMELY disappointing, with respect to both Amazon, but ESPECIALLY Shokz!!!! In future I'll be more careful with the reputation of the vendors I use... so with respect to the headset itself (since this is a "Product Review": 1. ZERO noise cancelling on the microphone (for calls, which is the only reason you'd buy this headset!) 2. no re-dial button available any longer (like the OpenComm1 used to have) 3. ZERO ASSISTANCE FROM SHOKZ (who are mistakenly - or worse, knowingly - refusing to accept that the headset was bought from their Amazon store!!! ) What a farse! What a waste of time!
