I discovered this serum through Dr. Sam Ellis’ YouTube channel, and I’m so glad I did. She recommended it as a first “sandwich” layer under tretinoin to reduce irritation — and it’s been a game changer for my routine.The texture is lightweight, gel-like, and feels instantly cool and nourishing on my dry, sensitive skin. Since incorporating it, my tretinoin irritation has dramatically decreased, and my skin stays calm and hydrated. It layers beautifully under other products and absorbs quickly without any stickiness.If you’re looking for an intensive hydration boost — especially if you’re using retinoids — this serum is a must-have. My skin looks plumper, feels more resilient, and I’m happy to have found such an effective, affordable product.

It’s FABULOUS!!!!! It’s one heck of a skin prep before make up!! For summer days and you want to do your make up but worry about sweating and getting oily! Pair this serum with a water gel moisturizer (I recommend Neutrogena water gel moisturizer) and then apply your primer and do your make up normally and trust me you will not feel dry under your makeup up but you also won’t get overly oily while having make up on if your doing matte and it works great with dewy make up as well and again you will not sweat as fast! It works great! My skin feels amazing! And yes it gives you glass skin! Very lightweight and fast absorbed! You will glow from within and outside with no make up or with, with this product!!! YOU MUST BUY IT AND IT LAST LONG! I had mines for 5 months and I just went to target cause I’m running low! You won’t regret

Wonderful hydration. Don't use too much at a time because it is so fluid and such wonderful texture and feels so wonderful on the skin you'll find the amount about the size of a quarter is plenty. Very refreshing with very light smell. I'm using it ony 73cyearvold skin and my skin loves me for it. I use it with the cleansing lotion (which is the most luxurious face cleaner I've ever used) along with the green bottle which pumps my skin and greatly reduces redness. I highly recommend for sensitive skin like mine.

Hydrating without making your skin greasy. Works well for my dry skin. Unscented. Good value for the money. Lightweight.

I absolutely love the moisture I get from this product! I have combo dehydrated skin and I shy away from using a moisturizer before makeup, because I use a moisturizing sunscreen - and adding a moisturizer before a moisturizing sunscreen just leads to a super shiny T-zone for me. But I can use a watery toner, the Prequel Multi-Quench, and then my moisturizing sunscreen, and my face is glowing but not greasy. I love the ingredients in this (Ectoin is so underrated) and how beautifully it hydrates and plumps my skin. My favorite part though is the texture - I avoided serums for a long time, because every one I tried felt sticky on my skin - but this just feels like a thick soothing water and leaves no tackiness to my skin. I absolutely love Prequel skincare and how effective but gentle it is on the skin.

I am enjoying this serum. It’s packed with ingredients that are good for your skin; my skin feels smooth and hydrated with only 2 pumps. I’ve worn it in the AM under light makeup (elf halo glow and bush) and it doesn’t mess it up at all, and PM with moisturizer so it boosts that hydrated feeling. I think the bottle is small for the $ but I would reorder. There is no scent and the consistency is water like.

I am in love with so many products from Prequel, and this was no exception. I tend to buy products, and never finish them, but I have rapidly finished my 1st bottle. It is a large bottle also which is awesome. It is unscented. It is lightweight to medium weight for a serum, so I use it as my last serum. It absorbs well, and has really been effective for my dry skin.

I absolutely love Prequel, especially the face wash and vitamin c. I am recovering from tretinoin burn though and my face is sensitive in certain areas. I figured I'd get this to help repair my barrier as I need all the moisture restore I can get. For some reason this stings my face, so I can't really use it. For that reason, maybe stay away if you have sensitive skin and/or a damaged barrier. Also, I do notice comments saying it is sticky. That's true which is why I always made my face a little damp to use it. If your face is a little damp, it glides on smoothly and dries down without the stickiness. It also feels like it absorbs better; otherwise it kinda feels like it just sits on the surface. I wouldn't say this is the most hydrating product I've used. There are better hydrating products on the market.
