The best brake lube for DIYer.
Actually amazed how well this stuff works. No wonder it’s the standard perfect size for a DIYer looking to change your brakes. Went from all kinds of squeaks and creeks to flawless silent break. Perfectly safe on your rubber boots and slide pins. Apply strategically on your brake pad contact points. Look up brake pad changes on YouTube. especially pay attention to the guys that put an extra effort to clean off your rotors and other parts with a wire brush. You’ll be glad that you did spend the extra five minutes. With this 4 ounce container you’ll probably get about 6 to 10 break jobs out of it.

Works like it should
AGS SIL-Glyde Silicone Brake Grease works great and is easy to apply with the brush top. The 4 oz size is handy, and the built-in brush makes it simple to get the grease exactly where it needs to go without making a big mess. It has a nice consistency, spreads well, and works perfectly for brake components and other rubber-safe lubrication jobs. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do and makes the job cleaner and easier. Definitely worth keeping in the garage.

Excellent for brake jobs. A must have.
I like the brush top on this. Anytime I do brakes my gloves generally get dirty and covered in grease, dust, or dirt so having this prevents you from getting contamination on newly cleaned brake parts or needing to switch gloves. I used to use purple stuff for my brakes, specifically the guide pins but this stuff far supercedes that. Being silicone based is the most important factor in this. My old stuff used to cause my guide pins bushings to swell, causing premature brake issues. It wasn't until I switch to this stuff that I never had that issue again. This is probably one of the best brake lubricants on the market and for good reason. Whenever you're doing pads or pads and rotors take the time to lubricate friction areas with this and clean everything well. This pays for itself the first time and you'll have enough to do many more brake jobs in the future.
