Good, but with some plug issues.
When I went looking for a tuner all I could find were the ones that you're supposedly supposed to clip onto your guitar to use, and I just think that whole idea is kind of stange. So I found this, which is more like the tuners I have had in the past. It is bigger, and has a lot of options I don't need, but you can plug into it and it doesn't have some stupid clip on it.I tested it with my older tuners, and it seems to do just fine. There's not really much more to say about it. Both guitar and bass tuned. My only issue was that the plug somehow didn't register my bass all the time, and only gave me the pitch 1/5 times, which was pretty annoying.

Great value. Price vs function
Works great. Has input and output so can use inline. Powers off after a few minutes but still passes signal through if used inline. Great value.

great tuner for the price
Accurate and works inline so you can tune in a noisy room. At $10 it can't be beat. My son uses it for guitar and my daughter for bass.

Didn't work properly.
It came in an opened package.. I can only assume it was opened from being so old and dusty that the adhesive wore out. The unit did not work properly despite fresh batteries.

Does a pretty good job for what it is
While latency is not 100% perfect, it certainly works. I am using a Macbook Pro with Garage Band. Quick specs: 4 GB ram, Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 2.4ghz. It's pretty responsive, hardly an ounce of delay between me playing and the output. Keep in mind, you should have a fast enough machine to use this or any audio input device.I thought at first it wasn't working. It is annoying not to have any instructions to come along with it. For this and the lack of support or information on it, I give this altogether 3 stars. There are plenty of people frustrated with the same issues it seems, and for as long as this product has been around, I'm surprised to still hear the same complaints. You'd think they would fix that problem. If you are using a Mac, I can help out a little: the device should show up under 'USB' in your hardware as "C-Media USB Audio Device". Click the Apple icon in the top left corner, select About This Mac, click More info, then System Report, and then to USB. It should be listed there. When using Garageband, I created a new Real Instrument track and made sure the monitor was on for the device, so I could hear in real time how it sounded. Select an amp, set up effects and have fun. Now, I did try this once on a PC. You should not need drivers to install. It's a plug and play device. I tried it with Acid Studio and with Audacity (free recording program). It worked for both. Make sure for whatever program or whichever platform you use, check the preferences/settings to see if the device is set to the input. In Windows, you may need to check sound settings under the Control Panel to see if it is set to input. Hope that helps!

Features and price make this a good value.
About the size of a man's wallet, this tuner is loaded with about all the features of the hi end models. Both LEDs(3) and digital screen shows where your at for tuning along with setting for chromatic/bass/guitar. adjustable pitch 433~447hz. Manual noting. I/4" pass-thru jacks for continuous use and a built-in Mic. Buttons are 'Pitch / Note / Mode / Flat (push)On/Off'. Plastic solid construction will survise a drop, and uses 2 AAA batteries. maybe a 1/2star off for large size - but harder to loose.. Price/features/construction bring this to a good deal. < Rating based on features, construction, and price of this compared to others my other 6 tuners >
