Basic Nursing: Concepts, Skills & Reasoning First Edition

this book is very thick and heavy!! i use it for my nursing school and it was hard for me to bring the textbook wherever i go. i wish it came in two volume sets. I like the content of the book though. they were very specific and easy to understand. i like how they give examples of scenario and what a nurse should do so. sometimes few chapters can be so dragging because to me it seems like the explanations are redundant. however i still would recommend this.

Love that the author consolidate the two previous books in to one book that is much clearer and concise. Also the book was shipped in a timely manner. Use the Davis Plus access code inside the book to guide your study and two chapters that is assign is not in the book but can be accessed online at Davis Plus.

Arrived promptly and with the access code! Can't really complain too much. The online resources are extremely helpful. Also a little thing to know is that if you buy it new (or used with an online code) you CAN access the ebook version of it ONLINE. So you get both a physical book and an online e-book, which, is VERY convenient to have ESPECIALLY if you're "required" to bring in your text to class every week.

I can honestly say this is a good book for your first semester of nursing school. I know a lot of my classmates would disagree with me, but I feel that the majority of my questions could be answered from this book. My only complaint is that sometimes this book goes in to so much detail about subjects that you'd think you were going to school to be a physician instead of a nurse. There are also a few things that contradicted what is in the current NCLEX books, but if you are actually reading all of your books, it's easy to point out what's no longer evidence based practice or current.

Had to purchase this book for nursing school. I decided to rent it, and now I am most likely going to just purchase it. It is a great book; contains not only information in paragraph form, but it also has diagrams, visuals, and procedures in steps. Wonderful!

This book is great shape, and I paid a good price for it it was just what I needed for nursing school.

This book has been my bible throughout nursing school! The quality of the book was amazing and I am truly happy I purchased this book online from amazon than anywhere else! If you need this book for school I would recommend buying this one!!!!
