VERY GOOD COFFEE

So I recently got into cold brewing. Someone told me to use fresh ground beans. So looking thru Amazon I’d come across this coffee claiming to be have the most caffeinated beans in the world. Pfft. I thought as I placed my order. Made my cold brew and poured my first cup 12 hours later. As I took my first sip I thought the taste was wonderful but thought drinking this will be no different than a shot of espresso. Shortly I discovered how wrong I was. I have to be at work at 5 AM so I usually have at least two 20 oz cups of coffee and sometimes three. Today being a three cup day as it was my sixth day straight without a day off. Finished my first cup around 4:00 AM as I left the house. Finished the second on my forty minute drive. Around 5:30 a noticed my self with a little more peep then I normally would but thought i must be running on auto pilot. Finished the third cup about 6 and noticed I was a bit more talkative than I normally would be. Around 7:30 I was even more talkative and started talking about how amped this this coffee has gotten me. I fully expected a hard crash later in the morning but even at 12:00 I could not shut up and kept telling my coworkers that fact. Now here it is over ten hours since I finished my last cup and I still cannot shut the hell up about this coffee. The dogs and cats are all tired of hearing about it so as I sit here and tweak like a meth head on a three day binge as I write this review. Yes this coffee delivers a major jolt and you will notice a difference. Just be mindful of your intake or you too will be getting dirty looks from your pets and coworkers as you tell them for the 100 time how much of a buzz this coffee gives you.

I love Death Wish coffee I've been drinking it for years. But for some reason the order got changed I do not want whole bean coffee I want ground coffee if that's possible thank you

So I have been a Deathwish fan ever since I saw the add years ago during a Super Bowl (howling Vikings with a Death Wish and so on) and tried the dark roast. This review is for the medium but see below. The quality of what is regularly delivered monthly is high. Not stale at all. Flavor on the medium is more to my liking than the dark (but I drank that for years and still love that as well). Smooth and rich flavor with the caffeine burst that I want. OK - not cheap. But for the flavor, no bitterness, and the caffeine hit it is a good value. Better than others I have tried.

A completely drinkable, but utterly generic cup of coffee. Perhaps I have spent too much time in the weeds buying local roasts or picking up single-origin coffee to remember what a no-frills blend tastes like. But this coffee is just that. It has no particular flavor note, just "coffee" and otherwise just flat and with no character. On the plus side its neither acidic nor bitter. So it has that going for it. But its a FAR cry from their "Valhalla Java" which is one of the best cofffee's I've had and has a very bold, dark chocolate and lightly smokey peat scotch flavor profile. Maybe that is your thing, but I found myself unimpressed.
