RepashySuperFoods Community Plus 6 Oz JAR

I like how easy this is to feed once you have made it. Keeps for a long time in fridge/freezer and does not foul the water. Everyone in the tanks eats it from neocardina shrimp to Mystery snails, gourami, neons, endlers and danios. Although it initially seems spendy, this 6oz jar will make a ton of food. I think it is economical as well as good nutrition for my fish.

I don't think I've ever seen my albino Corys attack food like they attack this stuff. It's easy to make, doesn't take a lot, easy to cut and store. I'll buy it again.

I have pygmy cories and neocaridina shrimp. This food works for both and sinks to the bottom (they are both bottom feeders so it's perfect). I make a batch each week and have been able to eyeball the ratio of powder to water. I make it in a mini mason jar and then I shave off a few slivers every day into the tank. My pygmy cories are very active and my shrimps have been making babies to I would say everyone in the tank is happy!

This community plus is awesome. I think its a great treat for all of my tanks. For some reason though the fish don't seem to enjoy it as much when it is in its gel form. They do however go crazy for it when I sprinkle it in as dust. No idea why, they love the soilent green in gel form but this one isn't as appealing to them. Despite all that I will continue to regularly use this, it's so easy to make despite initially being intimidated by the extra steps required to prepare it.

One jar makes a lot of food. Smells pretty bad and looks worse, but the fish love it, and it freezes well.

I have a community tank consisting of a 4 Bristlenose Plecos, 6 Kuhli Loaches, 2 Pictus Catfish, 1 Striped Catfish, 4 Corydoras, Swordtails and Platies and none of them will touch this stuff. I also have 2 Yellow Bellied Sliders and ended up giving the batch I made to them, they aren't crazy about it but will eat it if it's the only food I put in the tank. This stuff smells awful too, while preparing is when it smells the worst but even after the gel has formed and been refrigerated it still stinks. I buy other Repashy foods for my Crested Gecko which she loves and figured I'd give this stuff a shot for my fish but since they all hate it I won't be purchasing this or any other fish related foods by Repashy.

I've heard for years how awesome Repashy food is and wanted to see what the big deal was. And the verdict is...it's...fine? I don't know. I wasn't all that impressed, really. My fish would eat it eventually, but it's not like they were attacking it or it was getting eaten super fast. It would sit at the bottom of the tank for a few hours and they would occasionally pick at it and eventually eat it, but go nuts for it they did not. And with as much work as it is to match a batch, I guess I just don't get it...
