Review: Essential item if you are living in earthquake country - I bought 4 of these barrels to store water for emergency preparedness. They are made of high quality, food grade plastic with the code “2” stamped on the bottom, which is the most preferred type of plastic for food and water containers. They are also fairly light weight when empty, making cleaning and preparing them for water storage easy. I live in earthquake country with the threat of a Big One of magnitude 7.5 or higher a fact of life, having these has given me the peace of mind that I had enough water stored up for any eventual emergency.

I bought 4 of these barrels to store water for emergency preparedness.
