Size Name:30 g  |  Style Name:Golden Berries The Golden Berry was definitely the hidden gem on our journey to bring you the best dried fruit this world has to offer. It's a mysterious fellow, this fruit has more names than a James Bond villain (Golden Berry, Inca Berry, Physalis, Chinese Lanterns and Cape Gooseberries), but don't let that confuse you as these are packed with Scrumptious goodness. As it's native to the America's the last two names are particularly misleading, the Chinese Lantern describes the husk around the fruit as does the Cape in cape Gooseberries, (which is confused with the African Cape) where the fruit is now grown. Names aside, these fruits have a truly unique flavour and their sharp sweet and sour flavour is a winner with adults and kids alike. They have a real mouth watering flavour which is even more enjoyable as each 30 g portion contains only 87 calories. The Golden Berry is also a good source of Vitamin C and are high in fibre too. The Golden Berries also contain a range of exotic plant polyphenols and carotenoids which studies have linked to anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Tastier than some but have had better
Quite hard large slices and not as tasty as some but still handy to have as a snack when I get hungry

Yummy
Great size package for on the go or lunches. Easy to open so good for kids. Deliciously tangy chewy gooseberries.

Delicious but a bit of a rip off
Each of the packs in the box have about 6 tiny dried strawberries. They taste good (although I thought they would be freeze-dried, they are actually quite moist) but at 20p each, at a bulk buy discount, they seem crazy expensive.
