Kass Morgan The 100-4 Book Box Set Product Bundle – 1 Jan. 2015

I've loved the The 100 TV show from the first episode, and Kass Morgan is going to be at an event I'll be attending later this year, so I thought I'd buy the books too!I've only read some of the first book so far, but the story is a little different! I shan't divulge for fear of spoiling your reading experience, but I can already see differences in the book and the show.That doesn't mean that they're not worth reading! I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far and cannot wait to read the other two books. This is one of the best young adult stories I've ever read and I've been so impressed with the show, and the books seem to have the same awe inspiring qualities.Definitely recommended!

Amazing, amazing, amazing.I read these books in a day each! I absolutely loved them and , I loved the storyline; the character development. There is not one thing I disliked about these books and even though I loved the ending I wished there were more then 4 books because they were so good. These books are way better then the series so I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent series of books for young adults. This sci-fi scenario was more grown-up and realistic than many and appealed to my love of stories of ordinary people surviving in extraordinary circumstances. The teens generally are fairly ordinary until necessity pushes them further than they've achieved before. The technology and science is believable in the books. Kass Morgan has obviously done some research and gives realistic timescales and explanations for what has happened prior to the story.The romances in the stories are obviously a draw for many. She doesn't overdo these and there are fewer 'love at first sight-soul mates forever' or 'they hate each other so much you know they will get together' type relationships than many novels for young adults. One slightly unbelievable switch from one love-object to another, but otherwise seemed realistic. There is the inevitable love-triangle, but that's part of the fun.If you are expecting to recognise any plots, or even the characters of the same names, from the TV series and want more of the same then you may be disappointed. Some of the characters are superficially recognisable. The TV adaptation takes Kass Morgan's original scenario and a couple of character names and turns it into a steampunk adventure. Great fun in itself, but quite different from the more 'down to earth' story of the book. Pun intended. The adult characters are less developed in the books too. They are more in the background to the story of The 100 than the TV series.I'd have given the books a 5 star only sometimes I felt the writing was dumped down a little for an adult audience. I also felt that some characters were a little black and white compared to the TV series where almost all of them do something horrifying, almost unforgivable, but all are redeemable. The books touched on this but didn't develop the theme.

I read the first two books, believing that they were the only ones, got really into the program and then noticed there were two more books. I bought this and it arrived the next day, very pleased and recommend to anyone. Easy reading with good characters and interesting relationship development.

As a big fan of The 100 tv show, I couldn't wait to start reading the books it's based on! I think that the book series is really good, I for one couldn't stop reading them! They differ quite a bit from the television show, but it's still a very interesting story and a really good read. Finished reading all three books in two weeks, can't wait for the fourth book to be released!I would recommend these books to anyone, but note that you should keep in mind that it is directed more towards young readers.

Absolutely loved these books and couldn't put them down but didn't want to finish them. Having never seen the TV series but family member had been into the show from the start I was excited to read the books. When comparing there were quite a few differences but I passed each book to my mum (who was hooked to the show) and she, having more time on her hands, finished the books quicker than I could and kept asking when the next book would be available. Would highly recommend this series.

i loved the tv series so i got the books as i do with every show i love, but the corner of the holder was dented and the paint came off but it didnt effect the books so i dont mind (: 10/10 recommend
