Review: No fluke - Meter has been working fine for the last seven years. Happy with the purchase. Only two minor issues: the red wire got disconnected from the insert. There is no way to reconnect it. I had to cut open the insert, wrap the wire around it and tape it up. Second, I left it out in the open overnight once. Moisture got to it and readings went haywire. I thought it was permanently ruined but after several months it started functioning normally as the moisture dried out.
Review: Excellent indeed! - Beautiful & excellent tong tester! Usually in other, even branded, multimeters, I have seen the probes are the weakest link, then the knob switch. In this Fluke, very robust probes, and excellent switch. Very convenient size. I already have a Fluke true RMS multimeter, I bought this for the tong test facility, esp DC Amps! First time I'm having a DC current tong tester! And desertcart delivered in one Day!!

**Q: how does it measure dc current???means by connecting in series or by clip on???**
A: Clamping on single cable

**Q: is it possibility have fluke digital multimeter, to check ampere and capacitance rating check ?**
A: It can check ampere and voltage across capacitor but not the capacitance or charge.

**Q: what are the other accessories supplied with this clampmeter. I want to ask regarding battery, set of leads, manual, etc.**
A: you get a pair of AAA batteries, high quality leads, manual,calibration certificate and service card, and battery do last long as it can auto shutdown if its not used more than 5 min!!

**Q: what is diameter of jaw?**
A: Jaw opening 18mm only

Meter has been working fine for the last seven years. Happy with the purchase. Only two minor issues: the red wire got disconnected from the insert. There is no way to reconnect it. I had to cut open the insert, wrap the wire around it and tape it up. Second, I left it out in the open overnight once. Moisture got to it and readings went haywire. I thought it was permanently ruined but after several months it started functioning normally as the moisture dried out.

Beautiful & excellent tong tester! Usually in other, even branded, multimeters, I have seen the probes are the weakest link, then the knob switch. In this Fluke, very robust probes, and excellent switch. Very convenient size. I already have a Fluke true RMS multimeter, I bought this for the tong test facility, esp DC Amps! First time I'm having a DC current tong tester! And Amazon delivered in one Day!!
